Brad Close is a pretty underrated small forward I feel. Gets overshadowed because of Stengle but has kicked himself 22 goals this year.

Merrett is an absolute jet. I don't think top 10 is a stretch
Hayden Young gets a little less recognition than deserved 23 and having some weeks 25-30 possesion games with multiple goals. Is a real class player and just seems to be good where ever they put him. Averaging 24 possesions over the last 3 years.
Has been in my top 5 players full stop for the last 3-4 years absolute

I love Willem Drew!!! I feel like he is under rated massively and is a competitive beast who plays a game allowing our 3 big name mids to shine.

Taken the leap from being Very Good Player to genuine near-star this season.I've noticed the boys are going out of their way to talk him up as well. Reporters will be banging on about Holmes, Smith, Dempsey, Miers etc and our players will quickly pipe up with "And don't forget Axe, he's been awesome for us"
Really needs to be rule in this thread that you can't pick players from your own club.
Gushing on about some bloke in your own team nobody gives a shit about should be reserved for club boards. Nobody wants to hear about a port fan gushing over Willem Drew. They really don't.
If he's actually that under rated then someone else will mention him.
