Just got my SMS from the Club :thumbsu:

What a day, first Kreuzer/Henderson/Bower/Houlihan/Warnock named in the side, then Murphy signs for 3 years. :D

Great news but the rapture in this thread thus far would hint at more than a touch of relief in this announcement which i've got to say surprises me - Murphs was never going anywhere. :D:thumbsu:

I love that the club sends us such news via SMS. Great personal touch I reckon.

Look, we all knew it was going to happen, but such is the age we live in, that the official signing is all that matters.

Happy happy joy joy. Onya Murph ... Navy for life!

I too just got a text from the club.

Wonderful, wonderful news. The smile on my face from team selection just got a fair bit larger.

Our club is heading in the right direction and Murph is an enormous part of that. Couldn't imagine him playing for anyone else, the very thought enough to make me sick in the stomach.

Developing into a genuine star of the game, is Murph, and it comes as a huge relief that he'll be around the club for the good times, which will no doubt warm the hearts of the Carlton faithful.

Well done to Murph and the Carlton Football Club. :thumbsu:

“I enjoy being a part of Carlton and believe it is a fantastic time to be at the Club. We have a great group and I am keen to see through the work that we have started,” Murphy said.
“We have the best facilities at Visy Park and sensational support staff that ensure we continue to improve. Importantly I am keen to be a part of Carlton’s 17th premiership,” Murphy added.
