"As for Bomber, specifically, I've always got along with him and have a good relationship with him.
He's been my only AFL coach and has taught me so much over the eight or nine years since I arrived at the club as a 17-year-old. He's helped me grow into the footballer I've become.
Bomber is always looking for ways to get players to take their game to the next level. He's been great at that with me, and I know a lot of the other guys feel he's been great at challenging them, too.
It's not just on the the field, either. He's helped me with my lifestyle. Some simple things, like making sure your diet, sleeping patterns and training loads are right."

Good then Stay Gary!!!:D

Look, whatever way people want to spin it, there's clearly tension between Gary and Bomber. Perhaps it's got nothing to do with the GC, and more to do with Bomber wanting him to improve elements of his game (ie defensive efforts). Last year we all thought it was brilliant that Gaz would 'rest' in the forward line, now we all want him back in the middle and nowhere else.

Despite this, Gaz has always had flaws in his game that are being picked up on by the media now with the assumption they show Gaz is unhappy. Fact is, he's always whinged to the umpires a bit. He's always taken too long to get up from the ground when he's been knocked over, which has meant the defensive side of his game has never been great. I find it kind of funny that these incidents are being highlighted now, when they've always been evident even when he was helping us win two flags and a Brownlow.

Good points...
Does Swan have a defensive side to his game? Does Judd? Does Simon Black? Nope.....

He is a master of the fluff piece young Gary. Won't get this little side job up north though

Very good read.:thumbsu:

There is clearly tension because the media said so.

When Bomber has a heated discussion with another player it's just normal day to day football.

However when the same applies to Ablett there is clearly tension.

Because the media said so.
