Mystical Mac
Team Captain
1. Melb - Nick Naitanui - STRONG word they are thinking about him and why not? watts will be a gun but NicNat could be a freak like we have never seen. Not only is he athletically amazing but he also sets a tempo with his aggression that the young dees will follow. this is the most balls the dee have shown in over 5o years!
2. WC - Daniel Rich - the weagles go into shock after Melb takes Nat and need their full 2 minutes with intense discussion. In the end they love Rich and worsfold knows that midfields wins flags
3. Freo - Jack Watts - Freo are nervous that another Vic will leave them but watts is so clearly the best available they just have to. Harvey seen daydreaming about pavlich as a full time midfielder after the draft.
4. Port - Tyrone Vickery - After all the drama port take the only choice for them. will play as a key forward they badly need while Brogan.Lade wind up and then take over the ruck
5. Essendon - Michael Hurley - a lot of choice for nights but he wants to build a super strong defence to counter the rebound that will come from his fast moving high risk, game plan and Hurley is easily the best defender.
6. Carlton - Jackson Trengrove - highly rated by the blues and is the tall and athletic defender they need. hoping he will soon release Waite.
7. Brisbane - Jack Ziebell - want to rebuild their midfield and Voss loves him. Will be a good fit.
8. Richmond - Steele Sidebottom - Richmonds needs some more inside players and Steele is a classy as they come. Will be a good fit.
9. North Melbourne - Hamish Hartlett - North went in wanting the best miid fielder available and he is it. will add much needed pace and skill to the north midfield
10. Adelaide - Lewis Johnston - crows need more forwards and jonstone is the forward the need
11. Collingwood - Tom Swift - everyone was waiting for it and the pies are going to take the risk. could be a dud or a gun nothing in between and if he is a gun he could bring the pies a flag in the nest couple of years
12. Sydney - Sam Blease - Roos sees his honest, contested footy is past it and wants more x factor and speed. blease has both and with Ves and Bird will be the classy future of the swans
13. St. Kilda - Stephen Hill - Looking at a guy who at worst plays half back and at best mid field he is an athletic machine who the saints expect to play footy very quickly.
14. Bulldogs - Ayce Cordy - Father Son
15. Geelong - Aaron Cornelius - Cats see him as a quality forward and the forward line is their hole. With Hawkins coming, Corn gives them security and the possibility of a killer forward line even when Johnson moves into the middle more over the next two years
16. Hawks - Jordan Lisle - Hawks have got the eye firmly on him. a couple of others have slipped and they think long and hard, but they love this kid and see him as a big part of their future back line.
17. Melbourne - Shaun McKernan - They cannot believe he is here. they have had buyers remorse since they took NicNat but this is their best out come. melbourne stocks have just soared as the got two athletic and versatile future guns.
18. West Coast - Chris Yarran - another team very excited to get a man they only dreamed would still be around. forward or midfield west coast love what this guy could do.
19. Melbourne - Mitch Robinson - future big man stocks are now amazing so they grab the next best mid available.
20 - West Coast - Jordan Roughead - a great get for the coasters and can help them build a formidable forward line or have a handy back up ruck if Seaby goes.
21. Fremantle - Nick Suban - need more inside ability and Suban is the man.
22. Port Adelaide - Rhys O'Keefe - Good runner and good kick. port have earmakred for a midfield role
23. Essendon - David Zaharakis - a worker who adds more grunt to a weak midfield
24. Fremantle - Neville Jetta - Another local and a good small forward replacent to sit at the feet of their new tall forward recruit
25. Brisbane - Matthew Broadbent - midfield focused. best available.
26. Richmond - Michael Walters - Like the look of him around goals and have midfield aspirations. hope he turns out better than rodan and krakouer.
27. North Melbourne - Luke Shuey - Adding to midfield again with another great ball winner
28. Adelaide - Tom Lynch - Grab another tall. Time to load up.
29. Collingwood - James Strauss - another god onballer for the pies and another that might play in 2009
30. Sydney - Daniel Hanneberry - good speed and skills to add to pies run
31. Bulldogs - Jayden Post - impressive and agile tall to add to their stocks
32. Bulldogs - Paul Cahill - they are fine in the midfield and flankers, so continue to load up on talls
33. Geelong - Mitch Brown - another forward option. still lots of questions but worth the risk for the cats
34. Hawthorn - Clancee Pearce - another backman. very tough and aggressive and will provide good run.

The best two possible players WC could draft with their first 2 picks. Both WA boys and perfect fits
