Universal Love Nat Fyfe 200 up

Lots of people shat on Brayshaw for his first couple years so I don't think that's true.
nah, I have an example; my dad had a man crush on brayshaw since day dot. got into a few arguments about it as well. I thought for a few years he was just gonna be a serviceable mid not a superstar. I think dads right now.

Fyfe is cooked. I don't want to see him struggling with a busted soldier in icemania.
And you wouldn't pencil it in for a win.
Rest him until healthy or sign him up for surgery.
campaigners been through enough heart ache.

Caputured the exact moment Lachie decided to leave after watching Fyfe storm past 4 Geeling players and kick a ripping goal.

Gotta say this was my first reaction after hearing he was playing .
He looked really sore after that collision 2 or 3 quarter when he re-injured his shoulder .
Hope those docs know what they’re doing🤔

Love ya guts Fyfy, hope the boys get up for ya !!!!⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓

So your dad thought so but you didn't so it wasn't unanimous..like i said.

The only disappointing thing with those first game highlights is seeing Morabito.

Imagine if we had Fyfe, Mora, Mundy as our 3 midfield bulls for a decade.............

Plus Barlow minus a broken leg. If you had to pick who would be the best mid after the first dozen games of 2010, Fyfe probably comes 4th in most lists.

Several stories in the West doing justice to Fyfey. must-reads are the cover piece "One in a Million" by Mark Duffield and the back page offering by 'the Economist' Ryan Buckland giving Fyfe's truly astounding statistics.

Even if stats aren't your thing, just take a squiz at the graphic showing black dots representing where most other players sit and then lift your eyes heavenwards to the gold dot that is our Nat.

Buckland: "Fyfe is what NBA pundits call a "one of one", a player so unique that we've not seen anything like him and are unlikely to see it again."

**** I'll never be that good. - Lachie Neale 2015
That moment is my peak Fyfe memory that completely summed him up those first 14 rounds in 2015.

I have never seen a single player be so physically dominant where it was like watching Superman swat flies, it was incredible to watch.

Other players have been as good as or even more dominant like Buddy or Judd, but it was more speed or skill based. There has been no player like Fyfe in terms of raw unadulterated strength (that I've seen anyway).

He is our Captain Courageous.

For the love of Fyfe

Thanks Dale. Reading through those articles I came to the conclusion that Fyfe is even better than I thought.

The article from Ryan Buckland showing "Peak Nat Fyfe" from his most dominant years is absolutely mind blowing. His combination of clearances and contested marks per game is so far ahead of any other player its Bradman like.

The point is also made in one of the articles that Fyfe was part of our best ever 5 players also including Pav, Mundy, Sandi and McPharlin who all played together in our best era but as the others retired more load has fallen on Fyfe and to a lesser degree Mundy.

An outstanding career so far but he needs the next generation of Freo players to produce a couple of exceptional players to help him lift the team back into contention.

Well done Nat, the term Superstar was made for players of your outstanding ability.

If he grows his dud school boy haircut back will he kick goals again?

Best ever docker to play his 200th game, broken, busted in a shthole two headed state in front of 36 supporters.... All sorts of wrong for mine!
