He is getting to alot of contests.

Looks super fit, hands in tight are his best feature, so creative.

One of those midfielders who can be pushed forward when a tag is applied to cause a nightmare match up.

Very, very good young talent.

Pitt showed some signs today, a hint of arrogance with the way he showed the ball and poise to his opponents.

We are clearly developing the youth well.

unbelievable talent, and on par with hill now i would say as our most exciting youngster. has so much poise and the skill to back it up.

i dont know what everyone else thinks, but i saw a bit of fyfe in jayden pitt today, the way he moves so smoothly and his skills are great as well. needs to bulk up so that he can hold his tackles, but other than that looks a great pick up

Our most exciting young player IMO, even more than Hill.

It's hard to comprehend but I think you might be right. Hill is amazing of course but Fyfe's just doing everything right now. His contested marking ability is what sets him apart other mids

Will dominate teams on the Subi wings for the next 10 years! Has also proved so far to be a very good travelling player as well. Great game today. :thumbsu:

What makes Fyfe possibly even more exciting than Hill is it's hard to see how he could be tagged out of the game.

He's better inside than Hill, and inside ball hunters are harder to tag, plus as mentioned he's got the elite marking ability that creates a nightmare match up for the opposition if we push him forward.

i reckon fyfe could have 6 charlie votes at the moment..... he would definetly have atleast 4...... james hird all over again ;)

+1

And yeah, Pitt took a strong contested mark today and I initially presumed it was Fyfe that took it. Great signs from him.:thumbsu:

Fun times! Fyfe is the next James Hird and Pitt - someone mentioned arrogance - that's about right and a great sign. Veterans in defence were great today too and MJ much improved.

Awesome game

Was at the game today, and he looks super impressive. Just wants to own the game. Took contested pack marks, took a hitout. And knows how to find the ball. He's totally taken up on the absence of Barlow

:thumbsu:

IMO Hill is still our best youngster but Fyfe is up there.

I thought Pitt showed a bit of the Hill likeness out there. He sort of dances on his toes and backs his pace. His footskills are superb but he did bomb a few and missed a goal on the run. Pitt will benefit from more time in the seniors to adjust to the pace of the game.

Pitt, one wing, Hill the other. Fyfe on ball. Fyfe is sorta of similar to Mundy but a bit more desperate and a better mark. He doesn't quite have the Mundy shimmy yet but he is all class.

To be honest i thought we saw glimpses of Palmer 2008 there today. I'm backing this kid to keep improving. He was elated when we won for Pav. I doubt he's leaving.

I am so stoked with his improvement and his start to the year. I see a lot of Lenny Hayes and Bartel in Fyfe. He is exactly the type of player we needed and will become a super inside midfielder. Averaging 25 disposals a game so far this season, thats more than anyone could ask for.

Put No. 7 on the back of my new chevrons jumper - despite my big footy name. Hill has more polish and spark but I think Fyfe could end up being more influential. Marking ability is incredible and skill in the packs below the knee is remarkable - not often found in the same player.

On another note, just noticed that our highest goal scorer thus far is Son Son with 8 - that kind of slipped past me and its only from 2.3 games.

Um, Bradley and Mayne are our highest goal scorers with 5 a piece.

Err - and in further news I can confirm I have no idea what I was looking at in crediting Walters with 8 goals.

But anyway - back to Fyfey!!

My buddy did brilliant today, and probably best on ground!
Watching him first hand take thos pack mark and the poise to dish away a handball under pressure at the perfect moment was great to watch.
Fyfe has no elevated his game to point of getting people out of the house to come and watch him play. :p

fyfe for the Brownlow, Doig, and Normsmith!

It's a pleasure to compare Fyfe and Hill as they are two very differenet players who in time will be the best in their positions.

Hill for me is still your game breaker, the type of player that in the space of minutes can get us back into it or blow the other team over.

That said even now you can see how on the kick out they look for Fyfe, how does he keep pulling it down.
