Has been killing the side. Pity, cause I had high hopes for him

What are peoples thoughts on him - get out now or wait and see?

Would rather wait because need to get Hurn out and replace Hall this week

FWIW, I have 150K in the bank - any suggestions?
 
Jones is due for tear it up. There's a plethora of middies dropping down in price so I'd hold tight and address Hall and Hurn if I were you.
 
at least someone finally made a thread for him. he was the only disappointment for me this round. he was my only player to score under 88 other than rookies and cox. to put it simply, he may well rip it up in the future but i have no injuries, suspensions and 19 trades. HE'S GOT TO GO!
 
I'm holding onto him. Reckon he could explode anytime soon. Has been tough for him playing in a side that has been struggling.

He'll come good.

This is almost the same scenario for me. Have a little faith guys. Hell crack the hundred this week.
 
he may well crack the 100 this week but so will juddy and kornes and they wont be this cheap for long
 
I was gonne keep him, but with BBBBH out, I have the opportunity to do two trades and end up with Bernie Vince and Chris Judd. Better overall for my team.
 
he's got to go for me...judd is set to rise and if jones has a shocker again ill have to use more cash to get judd in. not worth it.
 
I ditched Jones from my SC team on the grounds that the way Melbourne is playing it is near impossible for him to have effective disposals, regardless of how many touches he gets. I guess quality of disposal doesn't matter for DT, so I think he could come good.
 
but its not the same carlton mid that everyone sh*ts on anymore. Im getting judd because after the melbourne game his price is out of reach

he's been getting the tag all year long. simpson tagged him last game, and ling was on him 1st half in geelong game. i cant wait for him to break the tag, gonna get hayes or judd this week.
 
I'd like to trade him for Judd, but that then gives me Stevens, Murphy and Judd in the same midfield. Would be bad news ahen the Blues were taking on Geelong or someone similar

:thumbsu: Traded in Murphy though so im hardly dissapointed. Every singly week i keep telling myself, "last week for Jones, if he doesn't perform hes going." And yet at the end of lockout he still remains in my team :(. Patience is wearing very very thin.

Yeh but thats only 1 week of performance every team plays the other 15 teams atleast once in H&A.

Didn't trade Houli out, but put him on the bench last w/e. Am thinking of possibly trading Houli or Jones up in the near (1-3 wks). Maybe.

He dose have a decent engine compared to other "in and under" mids so the speed of the game isn't a massive problem. Remember he got in the 80's for every NAB cup match he played in. I don't know if he was tagged in any of those games. I don't think he's had to deal with tags before this season so the tag could just be what's keeping him down.

After saying all that. I would trade him this week if it wasn't for higher priority trades needing to be done.

Oh and I can't see him scoring huge against Carlton. True they don't have a renounded tagger but the Carlton midfield is much better than the joke they fielded last year. Judd and Stevens there freeing up Murphy who's dangerous without a tag, throw Carazzo, Simpson and Gibbs in there and it's sounding pretty damn good.
 
don't own Jones myself.

but he can't be that bad, surely. :confused:

may as well keep for 1 more though.
that Car v Mel game could be a stats-fest.
