Shard misses the second FT, but Gordon can't tie it with the running jumper...

EDIT: Shard comes up big with 2 fts.

Looking at Kirk Hinrich's stats for that game and i think that's over for him. 34 minutes for 4 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists is not good enough. Can see him being the next player traded IMO.

I'm sorry but that is such a ridiculously simplistic way of looking at things.

If you looked at his last game you would say he is almost an all-star. 25 minutes, 18 points, 5 3's, 4 assists and only 1 TO.

He may well be the next player traded but that has been coming for the past 8 months.

oh and www.justin.tv might have the game. Otherwise search for myp2p

How about Marc Gasol's breakout game.

27 points, 16 rebound, 3 blocks and 6 turnovers

very nice game. he's definitely got game. would love to see more of him! seems like a feisty centre.
They were saying how much more experienced he was compared to other his age. If he went to school here, he would be 2nd year out of College...but because of Euro rules, he has been playing Pro ball since he was 18, as well as National team, allowing that extra maturity and experience in his game.

Doesn't look 7'1" either...looks more like a 6'9", 6'10" guy

Got to watch a fair bit of him at the Olympics and thought he was pretty handy. Atleast he is less of a caveman than Pau (although he is still pretty primative-looking).

Sacto have EASILY the least impressive lineup in the NBA.
Thats very true! But I still think we have some nice young pieces and I trust that Petrie will once again rebuild this team

Martin, Garcia, Hawes and Thompson are a good start. They rate Greene pretty highly too. Kings will get another lottery pick this year, plus the pick from the Rockets, a bucketloads of money to spend in 2010. At the moment we suck but I think there is light at the end of the tunnel

Watched a few quarters of Kings games, mainly because I'm curious to see why they've been so terrible this year, and I didn't watch a heap of them last year. Thoughts:

- Kevin Martin is a freak. Quickest first step of any player I've ever seen. Unfortunately he doesn't touch the ball on more than half possesssions.

- Spencer Hawes will be really good. Like, possible All-Star reserve good.

- Jason Thompson is a smooth player, but has some of the worst footwork in the post I've ever seen. Still a decent rotation player in the future I reckon.

- Beno Udrih is a dud. A dud with a nice contract.

- John Salmons is hilarious. I'm certain that he believes he's the best player in the NBA; stops the ball every time he touches it, refuses to make simple passes and literally costs Kevin Martin 4-6 points a game.

- Bobby Jackson is done.

- Mikki Moore is more of a dud than Udrih. Wouldn't make the rotation of any decent team.

Team-wise, their defensive rebounding is atrocious, as is their depth and their man defense. But with Martin/Hawes, I don't think it'll take Petrie too long to get them back to a competitive level, especially if he can get someone decent for Brad Miller.

Miller will also steady the forwards when his suspension finishes. Moore cannot handle a starting PF...Brand ripped him and Hawes in the 1st qtr today. Could not stop him scoring

Udrih needs to get in games more as well. Seems as though he likes to lay low, and not really influence games. And then theres Martin, who loves to shoot and not pass. Thompson looked good today.

I don't think they are that bad...just not playing well atm. Just like the Clips. Who would of thought a team with Kaman, Davis, Camby and Thornton would be 0-4.

Kevin Martin shouldn't pass. He's one of the most efficent guys in the whole league. As MDC said he should be getting every damn shot possible!

Speaking of the National team, are we ever gunna see Ricky Rubio in the NBA? Watched him at the Olympics - the kid can play!

They are that bad! As for the Clips, they don't have a team of Kaman, Davis, Camby and Thornton as 2 of those have been injured for the start of the season.
