I had hoped it wouldn't be used as a political football. It should be seen as a project to be delivered for the amelioration of Australia over the coming decades.

In it's original format I was a big supporter. The current plans for the NBN however, a far inferior product for slightly lower cost, I'd probably prefer to the money to be spent elsewhere than on fraudband in its current incarnation.

Never likely to get it. We were due to have construction commence 1 month after Labor lost the election. Which then got put on hold, and now isn't on the rollout map at all. So it's 0.5Mbps for the forseeable future for me. It sucks.

Building a new house (starts in 2-3 weeks), and NBN is scheduled to be available by the time it's built (rollout should be completed by end of May).

The new estate that we are building on is the only estate in the area that is getting it, since it was the first scheduled and the only one to survive once the Libs took over and butchered the whole thing. Also, we are in Stage 1 of the new estate, which is the only stage of this estate that will be receiving it.

Had no idea that we were even getting NBN until a few weeks ago. Winning!

I don't live in an electorate that its marginal...in actual fact we are in one of the safest Liberal seats in Australia and get sweet f all.

I hear that, Christopher Pyne is my MP, sorry by the way, and we see precisely nothing. The only saving grace is that we rarely see our MP either.
