Was calm and fine all week but it's really hit today.
I think being at work keeps you semi occupied, having today off means I think about it 99% of the day.

On the other hand I keep telling myself all the pressure is on them.
They've basically been on top all season so it was a formality that they've made the big dance.

Anyone (inc me) would've been laughed at if you said 12 months ago we'll be playing in a grand final.

Either way I love the way our playing group has conducted themselves in this finals series. Three years in a row we saw ourselves go to water in a pressure cooker environment. This group has absorbed the pressure with shear resilience and then applied the pressure back with ferocity via tackling, harassing and an in your face attitude. These tiggies arnt afraid to bite back!

Once upon a time I was an angsty teen, as opposed to a mediocre adult that hates people that don't use coasters at pubs

Back then, I - for whatever reason - saw Richmond vs Footscray more than any other club.

After Richardson Milned our backline one year, I thought to myself "If the Tigers ever win a flag before we do, I will have come to the conclusion that the world lacks justice and I'm better off living in a cave near Mt. Hotham for the rest of my life

The narrative thus far would suggest that I'm hoping you win tomorrow because I've reached some clarity with football after last year

But no. After thinking that 2016 was particularly unkind to your lot, and the incredible passion and stuff-the-rest attitude that you have displayed all year, I've been won over

I honestly and truly hope that you can end the drought tomorrow. Nerves exist, yes - I was a complete wreck this time last year - but belief is everything

What's more, I hope you do it in the typical Richmond fashion and break a few bodies - it will be fitting

Usually sleep 9 hours per night, averaging about 4 or 5 hours per night this week.

2 hours of sleep of Monday night was a killer.

I was losing sleep in lead up to finals especially Freo & Saints games , now heading into our biggest game in 35 years are fairly relaxed ! God knows why , perhaps just a sense of relief at finally making it to the big game! Tomorrow I will be as nervous as a cat with dandruff though

I'm such a wreck right now. I don't think I can sleep tonight. I keep playing the game in my head over and over. It's a killer because as a supporter we can't do anything!!

I saw Brendon Gale after the Grand Final Parade and I had a quick chat with him as we walked back through to Punt Rd oval.

I asked him if he is confident for tomorrow. He answered with "I'm excited". He said, "whatever happens, happens. Just enjoy the day"

I want this so badly, I want to see my team win the premiership tomorrow!!!
