Name for me the times the government has bypassed the ACC to develop the park lands before, especially since the passage of the Adelaide Park Lands Act of 2005.
I did before if you read my post.

Adelaide Oval!

Adelaide Oval has been there since 1871, try again.
They blocked permanent light towers, they blocked the increased oval size encroaching on the parklands... but were overruled... so you try again!

Developments of an existing development are not the same thing as brand new builds, aside from which Adelaide Oval is a cultural development for all South Australians, not for a single for-profit corporation.

You still haven't named any of the plenty of other times it's supposedly happened.

I have shown you were wrong that it's impossible.

You haven't though. Keep living in that fantasy land where the state government is going to go through the courts with the ACC to develop the park lands for a corporation for the first time though, just because it's the Crows.

It's happened before means it's not impossible.

Enough from me as you will argue forever, even when proven wrong.

Here's a map, try and point at any development in the parkland where the state government has bypassed the ACC to develop a new corporate interest in the parklands. Don't point at Adelaide Oval again, you've already been informed that as a redevelopment of a long existing cultural building for the SA public that is an incorrect answer.

Adelaide Oval Hotel rings a Bell,
Believe the Tennis centre is another,
Also, I thought Parklands act also covers the other side of the Torrens and the government made all the calls on the casino and will override the ACC on the entertainment centre.
There was a dispute about the new Adeliade High School but the Government shut down the ACC quickly on that.

The swimming center is existing, let’s develop that!

The state government had to pass the State Motorsport Act to get the racing track through Victoria Park in the 80s

Maybe they need to drop the "Motor" from the Act?

To bypass the council, I think we need to submit a Major Projects proposal. https://plan.sa.gov.au/state_snapshot/development_activity/major_projects

This process was created so that the Labor State Gov/AFL/SANFL/SACA could proceed with the Adelaide Oval redevelopment (and possibly the AO Hotel) without Adelaide City Council being involved. I am sure Kevin Foley mentioned we should use this process last year when the Aquatic Centre drama was going on.
