Last time I checked they were the Carlton Blues, yes their shade might be navy, but the less blue on our jumper of any kind is a good thing, I won't be losing a second of sleep over us putting a national sporting colour (green or gold) on our jumper rather than blue.

We also have Bluer as a national sports colour too.

Green and Gold is akin to Hawks piss and poo visually.

this thread derailed/10 lol. If i was the club id be pretty pissed off with the decision seen as they have a s**t tonne of guernseys already made and supporters too would be pissed off if theyve already bought 2014 guernseys earlier on just to find out this has happened.

Will the training guernseys change from blue to green too? is it only the home guernsey? who knows

This is all Buckley's fault, this would have never happened if Malthouse was still our coach. Malthouse handed Buckley the best version of the logo on an absolute platter in 2011 but then Buckley took over and couldn't follow through... Now we're going to have to do a "mini rebuild" and pick up some new companies as our current window of sponsorship is closing at a rapid pace. We were meant to have a sponsorship dynasty but everybody knows the best years are now behind Emirates and CGU.

You're kidding right? CGU would have made the change due to their strategic plan. Collingwood and our jumper would have been the most secondary of concerns.

IMO the logo is too big! With that being said though the colour change is a positive for mine. Black and green go very well together, IMO.

I would remove the advertising from the jumper altogether now we can't even spend all our profit on the football dept.

The 'See It Through' beneath the logo on the back is a little unecessary but apart from that I don't mind it. This isn't the first time my brand new jumper will be outdated, IIRC Aussie took over Wizard during the 2009 pre-season and changed their logo.

My take on the early season change is to embrace it.

For those that have a 14 blue CGU jumper you've now got a collectors item much the same as the 09 Wizard one (which was a different shape to our 08 top), the short lived Viatel tops of the late 90's and the horrendous mid 90's checkered pre-season top.
