New Heritage Jumper

Did anyone else see the new heritage jumper of White Line Fever today? It looked a lot better than last year, it was the jumper from our premiership year 1925. I have a link for a cigarette card that looks like the jumper except the stripes are the same colour as todays stripes.

The club had changed from the curved tops well before then.
In 1912 Geelong released a lace-up jumper with the bottom very similar to those worn last two seasons.
And its hoops were closer to this jumper.

However, in 1919 that jumper was replaced by a woolen version that had wider hoops.
This pic from the 1926 season, shows the equally hooped blue and white.

If they're saying it's the 1925 jumper, they're telling Maguires.

I saw it on WLF last night! It is a lot different to the one from last year, the hoops are narrow still but spaced out a lot more! They are also using the Ford/Geelong 80 year logo.

Perhaps you might be able to do a mock up Mero, or will you wait until Heritage Round?

Didnt see the Jumper but by the looks of the link, its more like the pre-1911 lace up.

I spoke to a Geelong guy today, who has seen it and is disappointed in it.
It's more a TV jumper, so people can say Geelong are wearing an old jumper that doesn't look bad on TV. (Which they aren't. It's a jumper, just not a Geelong jumper)

I'll do it as soon as I can have a trace over the top of it.
It looked like 7 blue hoops, half the thickness of the white hoops.
But I can't be sure.
Also, I didn't see if the GFC logo was one it.
