"Oh we're from Lathlain Park."
"A fighting fury we're from Lathlain Park."

I learnt that Clubs are apparently restricted to 8 designs a season. Source is the blokes who wrote the “Fibre of Freo” jumper book so a pretty knowledgeable source

For example, Freos are:
Home
Away (sponsor reversed home
Clash
ANZAC
Indigenous (purple only)
Starlight (charity)
Retro
Stealth

Thankfully Collingwood don’t have that many. Nike would have a heart attack. It’s hard enough for them to make 5 guernseys

really clubs should only be allowed max 6 designs a season

Home
Clash
3rd (can be retro/promo/whatever)
Indigenous home & away
Extra design (also can be retro/promo/whatever)

only compulsory ones would be the home, clash and the Indigenous home & clash

Apparently that’s the case already

Hawthorn will pivot from ISC branded team wear to Under Armour from 2026 onwards.
This is in line with Under Armour having purchased a stake in ISC in late 2024.

Though it's already been mentioned on here, this will be North's last year with Puma, however Puma are not picking up another club in the immediate future. Adidas is currently circling and exploring it's options for a return to AFL in the short-medium term.

Wonder what that would mean for sketchers…

I think Collingwood is the most likely club to go back to Adidas, which brings the question what will Nike do if they lose/drop collingwood? They signed with Sydney and collingwood around the same time, so will they drop out of the league again? Or maybe find another club? I do think Nike has shown favouritism with Sydney over Collingwood, so i would be surprised if they left Sydney. Brisbane will also enter in their last year of their partnership with new balance next season (i believe) so i wonder who they will go to if NB doesn't renew.

Wasn’t there a rumour North will sign with Kookaburra?

Lions have Home, Away, Clash, SDN Home and Away variants. Apparently there is something Fitzroy-like happening at some point as well.

A return to Adidas with the original swooping magpie as an away please

The BA gear (some branded as NB) is used all through our academy as well, would be surprised if they haven't found the partnership lucrative. I'd be happy to keep them, the quality has been quite good by comparison to the Classic or Majestic stuff.

I like NB, but it would be cool to go to Adidas or something. Especially if they're looking for a way to get into the comp.

I get that, but Adidas is currently an unknown entity in AFL. They have been out for years, we don't know what their current quality is like, or availability. Case in point Nike and Castore (Nike for the Collingwood complete lack of premiership merch the next season, and Castore in general).

I'd actually be keen to explore Puma or even O'neills, they both seem to have relatively good quality kits.
