For my 6th mid:

Thompson v Stanton v Dal Santo V Kornes

More than likely going the latter, he has served me well over the last couple of years, is durable and doesn't get tagged.

Of the other 3 I like Stanton. Has the capacity of massive scores if the opposition chooses to tag someone else. Like Dal Sants though, he can score horribly when he is tagged...

Hey jdwood...long time no speak :p!

I see you're not going as well this year...aww well!

I think you should get another geelong player....geelong are the best! Maybe Lingy? He is a gun, although good looking like most of our team!!! Of the ones you suggested, i think nikky dal is the best. Don't take my advice tho, you are a much better dreamteamer than me! Good luck!

pcp ;)

Who to start on the field - Rich v Muston

Opponent has both and started Rich last week but has Coughlan so may start both. The other I will have as EMG in case Corey doesn't come up.

I think Rich is the safer option so I will probably go him as I have been the better performing team over the last month.

im in the same situation and its a very tough choice. i feel rich could pull out a decent score agaisnt the hawks and will most probably go him.

Kornes v Stanton (+7k)?

Kornes is pretty consistent whereas Stanton is up and down but has a higher ceiling then Kornes.

Leaning towards Stanton at this stage but I'm still not sure? Thoughts?

Consistency verse probably overall higher scorer.
If your game go for Stanton because he could pull a 170 and pretty much set himself up for a 100+ average for then next 11 rounds.

Kane is almost guaranteed to average about 100 but not much more from here on in I believe.

My question is...
Rich --> Bartel this week or next?

Very much struggling with Deledio and Gianciracusa.

Made a long and convoluted post on the trade thread weighing up pro's and con's of the two, but still have no idea.

Bartel will certainly go up LESS than Rich, so depends on:

-whether you need a league win this week
-Whether you value the extra points this week over the extra $$ you'll have by waiting a week.

With a b/e of 35, Rich should go up at least $15k this week, more if he has a big one at Aurora, Vs the generous hawks midfield. Bartel's b/e is 108, so he's not gonna go up a huge amount (If he scores his mean of 115, he'll go up about $3k).

I did it this week, couldn't help myself :p
The extra 10k may have been handy but I can't really complain, hopefully the extra points earned will make up for the cash lost.

Had a decision on whether to start Collins or Rich on the field. I chose Collins. Was the right move by 22 points.

My Eliminator will be tight, so i need every point i can get

Would have been much better off with my VC Mitchell as captain instead of Cox though :(

Bryce Gibbs - thinking of bringing him into my midfield in the next two or three weeks. Do people see him getting back to his 100+ average?

I was thinking that he may just be a bit fatigued and the split round will help him out alot. He scored in a bunch in the 2nd quarter on friday night but the Saints mids were just too strong. So the scoring potential still looks to be there.
