A few of my friends have just got a house down in Warrnambool, so a group of us (five) are going there. We might go clubbing, but I'm underage (the only one ), so if I can't get in (I don't have a fake ID, just a friend's) then we're just gonna go to the beach or stay at the house.

Will definitely be very drunk, either way.

was supposed to be @ falls, but got a little bit too broke to afford it...

tradition is a NYE BBQ then into the city for beer, boys and babes... which knowing me will all take place at the cranker or austral so if you see a drunken redhead at either of those places say hi and buy me a beer*giggles*

The prob is there's lots of Redheads at those places.

falls is a music festival, held over the new year near lorne
i've been in 2000 and last year, def a great experience!

all ages, but mainly the teens and twenties i guess, and the music is usually alternative and triple j stuff

Pretty tame responses so far - I thought this thread was about getting hammered.

I'm an upstanding member of the community these days, but I thought younger folk would be getting into some ecstasy, speed, coke, acid etc on the big night.

Was reading an article today about some stuff called GBH - what's that like?

I'm a 'younger folk' I suppose. And I personally don't take any of them drugs. But I'm sure there will be plenty 'young folk' out there who will be doing so, they just don't post on BF.

Good on you - and I'm certainly not advocating that you should.

I was just curious (given the thread title), and younger folk seem to be mostly pretty straight to me.

I guess it all comes down to personal choice really. I've been tempted, but I've never given in to that temptation. You either do drugs or you dont, and I think a lot more teenagers are experimenting these days. I reckon most of us on here are pretty straight when it comes to drugs, or at least I'd hope so

I dont mind if people do drugs. Some of my friends do them and hey, it doesnt make them any less of a person. They just know not to complain or have a whinge to me if they get admitted to hospital or whatever. Its their choice if they want to do it or not and I dont have any right to stand in their way.

I've never touched drugs and never ever will, my cousin died from them so yeah makes my decision a lot easier, even though there was never a decision to make.
