We need a big key forward return game over a month in this next ten week period. We beat GWS by having the Giants focus so much on Josh, Jye and Patrick that Frederick was allowed to run across the forward fifty in heaps of space for half the game. Against Port, our smalls again did the heavy lifting but in that wet it's understandable.

I want to keep the opposition looking at particularly Treacy as a massive threat that they need to start their defensive plans around, because it's letting the others sneak out the other side of the bed.

I want Josh to kick twenty goals over the next five weeks.

I like the fact that we're unpredictable going forward now. Opposition players don't know if Treacy, Amiss, Voss, Freddy, Reid, Bolton, Freddy or duds will kick a few. It's great that they can't defend them all.

History tells us teams dont go well straight after a bye.

History also tells us we're likely to Freo this up and it wouldnt surprise to see North beat us.

If we're half as good as what we say, and we're starting to become ruthless and hardened, then we win them all and march forward with a stern body of form, on our way to the finals. Show us how much you've matured boys.

The last 3 years we have hit the bye on the back of a nice 3 or 4 game undefeated run that had us all believing again, and then come a serious cropper with a bad loss in the first game back from the bye.

I know I’m only a nuffie supporter, but I’m only thinking about how to get the win over North Melbourne on Saturday week.

Because we ****ed the start of the year, 4 of the 5 is non-negotiable to get to what we all wanted at the start of the year. A chance at something resembling success.

I'd suggest all 5 are very winnable, even 4 out of 5 may not be good enough considering our run home after that. The sun is finally shining, hay needs to be made.

5 gives us a sneaky shot at top 4
4 gives us a shot at a home final
3 is honestly a bit of a waste of momentum and keeps us firmly in that 8-13 logjam.

North is the massive danger game, St. Kilda is a certain win (no way the team isn't up for redemption). As long as we play with the intensity we have over the last few weeks we should be good for all 5. SCG has been a happy hunting ground, and favours the team winning clearances, which should be us. 4/5 is the pass mark, if we're seriously making a push, got to be 5/5.
