That's accepting mediocrity.
We love Bucks, I get it of course, I'm a Pies supporter, but his playing career has nothing to do with his coaching career. As a coach, he's been average at best.
We have a strong list, we should be playing finals. We should have played finals in 2014 and 2015. Our list is better than Richmond and North (plus Essendon in 2014 and Adelaide in 2015).
As the coach, he should be held accountable for our mediocrity.
Am I rating our playing group too highly? Was it purely injuries that decimated our past few years?
It is accepting that Buckley is the right coach for Collingwood. He just had his contract renewed on the basis that the club is confident in the path that he has set. They are not about to change their minds after one poor game.
