Academies are recent interventions, indigenous kids boarding well outdate academies although I'm sure the spin doctors at AFL House would love your claim to be true, but its not.

Didn't know you were a spokesperson for private schools Vital. We mere State school educated supporters might just be a bit miffed by that comment. :p

Ugle-Hagan has been confirmed by the Warrnambool Standard as an Oakleigh Charger for this year.

What does this mean for the doggies
The AFL introduced a rule this year that says any NGA player who transfers to Oakleigh Chargers can't be picked up by the "owning" club in the NGA system, meaning we will lose all rights to JUH.

It's called the "Up Yours Oakleigh" rule (yeah, they can't spell ) and after 30 years it's finally an opportunity for the Empire to strike back at the upstarts from the working class west who won't accept their rightful place at the bottom of the dung heap.

VitalDread just looked at the GWV list for this year Emmanuel Ajang is one of our next gens right?
Unsure at this stage
Havent been able to find an updated NGA list from last year

Ill still track his season just in case

2020 Prospect Nick Stevens will play for Geelong College instead of Rebels this season
Nick is attending Geelong College this year, so we won’t have access to him too much due to school football commitments. He played some good football last year for the Vic Country under-16 team. He’s a good size and shape and he has a great work ethic and good skills, but he’s a work in progress.”

POTENTIAL DRAFT SURPRISE PACKET
Saad El-Hawli
(Altona Juniors): “Saad is a member of the Western Bulldogs’ Next Generation Academy who has come into the squad this year. He’ll play off half forward and he knows where the goals are. He has elite football smarts and really good agility and speed.”
I shall add him to the list and track his year

Thanks wiz
