for starters-- the changes which need to be made!

Sam Iles---- has no idea!
Bryant----- i porefer more than richards...but.....played bad
obrian- takes too long to execute a disposal
wakelin--- retire
Medhurst----- i like the man...but needs to be dropped for a lesson
Rocca----- absolute bunny--- DOES NOT LEAD PROPERLY!

in-

Presti (we need this man)
Shaw (need some run)
Lonie (need someone who knows how to use a footy)

clement- 2 weeks he will be in

I'd drop Medhurst for Cook. He has been named emergency for a few weeks and if he came in would play a similar role. Give the kid a go.

Lonie in for Iles. Essentially play the same role, but Lonie has more experience and can potentially hurt teams more.

Bryan was ordinary today, but Richards isn't much better. Harry will benefit from Presti taking the talls and playing on the smaller forwards. Rocca was ordinary today. The delivery wasn't great, but still, all we ask for is a contest.

come guys we lose to the top team by 16 pts and you are already going apeshit!? We are injury riddled and the fact that we can compete with the likes of geelong says alot about the calibre of players we had in the team!

DIdak has been very ordinary the last couple of weeks, understandably. I think he will play out of his form slump!
Rocca, hmmmm reid found the ball better then he did!!
Bryan is crapola
Medhurst crapola, despit doing good things in the first quarter
Some other team members had a bad day, swan, johnson didak, rocca...
With that mean senior players out and alot of the others under performing we did well to stay within 16!

great effort boys!
i would chuck clarke back to willy, looked abit lost today.

One loss and we wield the axe?????

Bryan will play next week
Medhurst may be dropped
Iles was excellent the week before against St Kilda, I'd expect him to stay in the side.
O'Brien is one of our most improved players this year, and is vital to our sides structure.
Wakelin has had a terrific past fortnight, he wont get dropped
Rocca has had a bad day, next week he'll probably kick 4-5.

players that could come in next week -

Presti - Will play at Williamstown
R Shaw -Dito
Buckley - Dito
Clement back round 18
Lonie was injured last week in the VFL

Who would come in???

The backline wasn't bad today. We kept them to 11 goals. The average more in the order of 17 or 18 this season. Good work. Our mids need to lift and our forwards (except Cloke) were well held. That's where they beat us. They had no 1 key forward that dominated the play IMO. Maybe Mooney was wasteful. Oh, and for the Wakes baggers, he was in our best today and did well in the game rankings.

Our problem was our mids not running and carrying the ball forward...we chip around and they get two extra men back, usually milburn and egan. We dont have the skills to chip around and work it in to the forward line all game, need to take some risks, run and give the forwards some 1 on 1. Wakes did well considering he probably never had the no1 forward in most of his career

I saw Micks eyes and he seemed pretty content to me...I reckon he knows who needs the run and who doesn't...and I don't think he was overly concerned abouts todays loss.
He left a lot of young players on more experienced players today who were giving them a footy lesson......because they were giving them a "Footy Lesson" something they will need before we take on any team in a final.

Bucks may be back next week if the goss is correct.
That may see Swan get a rest...not dropped.. a rest.
As for the others I think a few will be rotated...Richards in for Bryan
Ryce Shaw in for Martin Clark who is probably in need of a break despite his good start. (in know this is sacriledge)

so there's my tips for changes

Bucks for Swan
Shaw for Clark
Richards for Bryan

Forget Bucks for Swan, not gonna happen!

I woud only consider this possible if Bucks is actually available...
and if he is I would not be surprised by Swan getting a rest.

Can't say that I agree completely...

Sam Iles---- Didn't have the greatest game, but he's just a kid, he's doing alright and will get better with experience. I wouldn't be so harsh on him.
Bryant----- It's Bryan, and yes he had a shocker today. No excuses really, but we know he can do much better, and has shown a lot more than Richards ever has.
obrian- It's O'Brien, and he has been excellent. Has excellent feet, and may seem slow to get boot to ball, but it's only because he is so composed. Name one time it got him into trouble today.
wakelin--- You are an idiot. He has done a fantastic job of filling Clement's position in the past few weeks, he stays.
Medhurst----- Don't like him one bit. Too undisciplined. But yes, Malthouse needs to stop giving him chances and just drop him, we can't afford to carry him anymore.
Rocca----- Had a terrible game today, but will come out strong next week and kick a bag. We know he is capable of it, and that's why he is named week after week.

He is one of our best. Did you notice how the best tagger in the league went to him before the bounce and ran with him all day. Swan is a star!!!
