Was a bit of a kids show his performance in the super bowl too.
Watching the post-match press conference I felt like I was watching Nickelodeon.

Panthers fans must be concerned that Superman is starting to think about his post-NFL career already?

It's possible he might retire before Brees! :)

I don't think he can personally handle how he chickened out on diving on that fumble. I think it's killing him inside with embarrassment, and you know how much he pouts and sooks normally. I wouldn't be surprised if he quit football in 2017.

Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times Union expects the Saints to let Drew Brees play out the final year of his contract.

The two sides have engaged in preliminary extension talks but it doesn't look like much progress has been made on that front. Brees will count an enormous $30 million against the cap this year but with the offseason pretty much over, there isn't much incentive to lower that number. There's little doubt Brees will remain with the Saints even if he hits free agency. The Saints have wisely recognized that extending Brees would only be a short-term cap fix. Starting his contract over from scratch looks like the way to go.

» The Carolina Panthers are content to roll into the summer with youth at corner. The team drafted three rookie defensive backs in the 2016 NFL Draft. Ron Rivera said he doesn't expect the Panthers to sign a veteran corner, at least for now.

"I guess if we did do something it would be later on. But right now we're set," Rivera said Saturday, via the Charlotte Observer. "We're very happy with what we've seen the last two practices with the young guys."

The Saints have removed two-gap concepts from their playbook and will ask their defensive linemen to penetrate upfield.

The Saints played a 4-3 under ex-DC Rob Ryan, but there were two-gap "read and react" principles. "We're not going to be two-gapping anything," promised new pass-rush specialist coach Brian Young. Sheldon Rankins and Nick Fairley will be counted on to pressure quarterbacks from the interior. Cameron Jordan, Obum Gwacham, Kasim Edebali, and Davis Tull will form a rotation outside. Especially with Hau'oli Kikaha (ACL) headed to I.R., we're skeptical the group is good enough to successfully execute new DC Dennis Allen's scheme.

Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff admits he's on the hot seat.

"Of course, I’m on the hot seat," Dimitroff said. "This is a very urgent league right now." The Falcons are just 18-30 (.375) over the past three seasons, while Dimitroff has ceded power to Scott Pioli. Dimitroff's rosters have long been amongst the thinnest in the league. 2016 could be a make-or-break year.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Sunday that Kelvin Benjamin has struggled with conditioning during camp.

Rivera said the goal is to get Benjamin to "where he can handle 30-35 snaps by the end of the preseason." Benjamin has reportedly been getting "winded" after running deep routes. Benjamin has struggled with conditioning and his weight in the past, making this a situation to monitor. The Panthers used a four-way receiver committee last year, something they could re-implement if Benjamin can't open the season capable of playing full complements of snaps.

His weight isnt an issue (where does it say it is?)

Looked fit as ever in the camp vids ive seen, pretty sure he is far from match fit though (being out for a year will do that), which is what im sure Rivera is talking about.

Im concerned about Matt Ryan being the only QB unable to complete a pass in week 1 of pre season. Will he extend the streak into week 2? Tune in to find out....

These here are exciting times to be a Falcons supporter

So should I be concerned that the Panthers lost to the Ravens?
