I liked Lower, I was sure he was going somewhere last season, but stayed with the Redlegs. Is a pretty good contested mark. Puopolo and Lower should be a good chance to go somewhere. Should both be handy players.

I recognise Lower's qualities however do we really need another inside midfielder?

I think with GC and GWS entering the comp in the next 2 years, there's a very, very good chance that these blokes will find their way onto a list. These sides will need depth to carry them through their formative years until their plethora of youngsters have developed enough physically to take over.

I'm not really sure these are the types of players we need at the Crows, unless these guys are good enough to be in the top 15 players in our side, ie guaranteed first 22 players, and not just borderline 22 players, we really shouldn't have too much interest. We've got more than enough blokes who are good enough to play AFL, what we need are blokes who are good enough to make us into a top 4 side. I don't profess to know too much about these guys, but unless they have the potential to be genuine A-graders at AFL level or fill a genuine hole in our side, I have little interest.

Well I cant see Lower being an A-grader as such, but as said above he could be a handly AFL player. I don't think the Crows need him but with a lack of senior players and strong bodies I could certainly see him holding a spot at the GC/GWS.

Puopolo I reckon could be an asset at most sides, he has not only speed that is difficult to find but also has strength and courage. The only question mark around him is his height. Probably 10-15 years ago he could of been a high quality AFL player, but is he to small now? How will he go marking some taller AFL forwards. Perhaps use in a specialist role against a Milne, Schnieder, Gray type small forward?

Puopolo is an absolute gem, and I’ve been saying he’s AFL quality for some time now. If he doesn’t get drafted I’ll be shocked, and it’ll be devastating losing him but I’ll enjoy seeing him on the big stage.

Yeah he’s short, and he’d be one of if not the shortest players in the AFL, but every week you could match him up against the oppositions small forward and back him to win. He’s short, but he’s got amazing core strength, doesn’t get pushed aside, and is almost impossible to beat in 1-on-1 contests. He’s also super quick, and has an amazing competitive spirit. Look at that running goal that Callinan kicked, Central tried to apply 2 or 3 blocks, and he still kept running and chasing and almost got there. Speed, strength and fight, enough attributes to succeed.

I suspect the Bulldogs are keen because he’ll be the ideal replacement for Harbrow.

I've watched a lot of him as well and I totally agree

The Bulldogs will struggle to get him as their first pick is 57 (I think) as their first 2 are used on father-son picks. Maybe the Crows could still get him.

The Doggies might be getting Will Minson from the Gold Coast in exchange for pick 44 an a 1 or 2 pre listed players. If they get pick 44 there chances of getting him will have improved.
