Typical negative meltdown bullshit from our board again.

Why can't the 22 get another chance to rectify themselves? Who from the reserves ripped it up enough to deserve a spot? If the same shit happens again this week then I'll be calling for changes, but just chill out! CEY in for Petenko will make **** all difference anyway.

The same shit did happen - twice. It's called Rounds 1 and 2.

Because we lost by 11 goals......in less then 38 minutes.

Not exactly a plethora of blokes knocking down the door for a game SP. I still believe injury will force some changes.

Possession is 9/10th of the law after all and that's the way we love the Crows - it's harder to get out of than into. Especially after 3 weeks of 10 goal losses.

Changes were made then. As someone has said we had quality players that could come in and add value to the side in earlier rounds. Who really deserves a call up this week? Is CEY for Petrenko really going to benefit us at all? The only thing that would happen if CEY came in is that he will come under bad or ugly in the match review thread by the same posters that wanted him in.

What we need to start doing is finding player who can and who can not perform under pressure situations.

Those who can not - need to find a new club and if we have to replace them with an inexperienced player, so be it.

What were we really expecting people? Petrenko was named in the 18 so we knew he wasn't being dropped. Martin, CEY and Shaw were the three brought into the 25. How would any of them improve the side? I too would've preferred CEY to get a game but its hardly surprising

Didn't Sando make 5 changes the week before?

Yeah, ok.

Let's stick with this 22 for the rest of the season until Tex comes back and it's the best we can do.

I guess, form and performing doesn't matter anymore.

We had quality options to bring in Douglas, Laird, Reilly (cough), Jenkins that could add to the side. This week nobody to bring back and the only real obvious omission was Petrenko and I like he gets 2 cracks at it.

Sando is laying it all on the line and telling the boys they made the mess fix it. Nice and gutsy move.

Win this get Lynch and Tex back in the coming weeks and we can get our season moving.

Good points. Will boost morale if we have a good win. If we have another shocker it'll underline our issues.

I know some here were saying they'd like to see us lose so the 'deeper problems than we know' don't get glossed over. Can understand that line of logic completely, but I just want to see what I thought we were capable of and the last three weeks turning out to be a bad dream.

Ah, the voice of reason at last!! :thumbsu:

We'd only have 6 players on the park if we dropped players because of poor form. Just relax and let's see how Sunday goes.

 you kidding me ! ......when did CEY become a crumbing forward to replace Petrenko .....seriously

Would of had restructured the forward line a little, by having Patty as a 3rd tall and rotate him between the forward/middle, push Brodie up the ground/wing and play CEY on the HB. Give CEY exposure against St.Kilda's forward line, to identify the weaknesses then develop him as a player.

However I'll admit my post was a knee-jerk as I'm still mad from last week. If Petrenko, or the forward-line for that matter can convert opportunities, then I'll happily munch on a big humble pie.

I think before some folk get too excited they should wait for the FINAL 22 to be named on match day. Quite conceivable the selection panel are playing ducks and drakes, especially given several players are under injury clouds. Certainly wouldn't be the first AFL team to do that and won't be the last!!

Harps and Sando are a crafty duo.

Looking forward to the Saints hitting the panic button when we go in unchanged.

We have players in tne first 22 not performing such as Thommo, Jflog, JJ, pets and they continue to get picked and we have players in the Ravens who have been in good form for a fair while in CEY and Lyons and they cant get a game to save themselfs. I wonder why there might be some discontent in the player ranks.
