No Judd.....Mo Blues

I wanted our kids to step up today without Judd and I was extremely happy. I loved the way Judd took Gibbs aside during the warm up and had a little chat to him. And Gibbsy stood up this kid has so much time and silky skills it's not funny. And you know what he learnt from last week when he missed a crucial goal against the Don's. Murphy had a quite one and he has to start improving his kicking, but out of all the kids we have Gibb's is the one who has improved the most and is starting to get more confident. Even if we don't make finals, which I doubt we will make anyway our future is looking pretty bright. We have a lot of imporvement left especially in our disposals etc and hopefully they are working hard at this part of our game.

Exactly we have to start putting 4 quarters together in a hurry. We have tough games coming up and if we give any of these sides 3 - 4 goal advantage they will blow us away.

Really pleasing to see Nick Stevens have a great game today, particularly his last quarter, where he had 11 touches. Best mid on the ground today, and by some margin as well.

Special mention to AB as well today, did alot of stuff at the bottom of packs, and was also good with his delivery inside 50.

You are spot on. Today was Joey's 6th game, having debuted against the Eagles in Round 4, last season.

Judd should never start on a wing. He's the best contested ball player in the comp and should always start in the square.

He's always been a contested ball machine, even at West Coast despite myths that suggest otherwise.
