George Hill would be a good fit for T'Wolves.
Like the move for Utah, Rubio is underrated. Will it be enough to get Hayward to re-sign?

I don't mind Liggett but don't mind the new crew tho. All my facebork friends seem to hate McEwen and Keenen for some reason. Either way I'm watching tdf for an imaginary holiday, and Gabriel Gaté.I still watch the Tour but the other races are better these days.
Liggett had been a horrible commentator for years, so far past it. Glad they've paired up McEwen with Keenen. It's a good match; Keenen's peleton knowledge is off the hook and McEwen is pretty good on the tactical side of things.
On balance that should give Sharks the advantage... [emoji33] shouldJust flicked over to the rugby game on the GC between the titans & sharks, those players will need life jackets soon.
The rain atm and water on the ground is unbelievable

Getting drawn into the mechanics of who would beat who in a match and where Serena would be ranked in the Men's game isn't the point.
Men's tennis exists on its own.
Women's tennis exists on its own.
Therefore the achievements and merits of their participants should be measured on the own terms of each sport.
North Melbourne as a football club doesn't exist independently from the AFL, they don't play under a different set of rules with a different physical biology.
I suspect I'm ramming my overly politically correct head into a metaphorical brick wall by continuing to talk about this but why do we need to say 'the greatest female x'. We are all well aware of Serena Williams gender surely? We know form watching her for nearly two decades she is a female who competes against other females. The gender distinction is only made as a way of re-enforcing male superiority, its shorthand for saying 'but if she ever did face a man she'd get crushed straights'.
I'm an immortal spirit trapped inside a mortal prison of flesh and bloodYou're not a science!

Haven't read this thread for a while and just coming to this conversation.
I'm of broadly the same persuasion (liberal/leftie, overly politically correct), but I think the problem here is that a lot of interviewers and commentators are starting to ask if Serena can be considered one of the greatest athletes of all time and people immediately think about Ali, Bolt, Jordan, Federer, Pele, Bradman or whoever. We shouldn't look at it through that prism but that's what happens, and then you start to think "well, could she beat the best male tennis players?" and the answer is a resounding no.
Personally I think she can be considered one of the best athletes ever for the reasons you mention above, but I absolutely understand why people react negatively to that suggestion. I think the best way is to flip it on its head and say "well, is a journeyman male tennis player who never broke into the top 100 in the world a better athlete than Serena Williams?" - to which I would guess most people would say no. But if he would beat her in a straight-up match then why is that the case?
FWIW I think she could beat a number of players in the top 700 or whatever McEnroe says, but by her own admission if she played a top men's player it would be 6-0, 6-0 (I think she was referring to Murray when that was brought up in an interview). The problem is how the conversation is framed. I would always look at dominance in their sport, so for me Bolt is higher than Ali, and probably even the others I've mentioned. And that's where Serena comes in, because her record is almost peerless in her sport.
Steve's ears are biggerI know that it may seem unkind(to us), but I was wondering if our Bulldogs mascot was based on Steve Price's face? I noticed the resemblance this morning while watching some Ch10 show that he was on.
