Kobe never went anywhere near carrying a team like Lebron has. Both have needed support to win ships but honestly, with no support, Kobe was exposed.

I once had an argument with a guy who says Kobe was robbed in the Nash mvp years.... If both guys are carrying their teams, and the other guys team knocks you out in the playoffs, he's more valuable.

The whole "this player ranks higher all time than that player" argument is so played out, because it's completely subjective and there is never a definitive answer. I'm not sure why people like you get so hung up on it. Kobe is great, and so is Lebron.

I could easily make an argument for why Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the greatest of all time. But realistically how can he be compared to Jordan or even Bill Russell at the same position. Their games were so different.
