Our family home is no longer ours. Yesterday afternoon, Chicago time, the house went through its final closing. My brother accepted an offer which was less than was listed, but seems reasonable. Now the courts take over and my siblings and I will get our share probably in October. So after almost 60 years in our family(my uncle owned the house for about five years before my parents bought it from him) the house belongs to someone else. However, it will always remain "our home" in my heart.

Check out the good looks pay gap it's ridiculous.
The biggest problem I see is that the gender pay gap reverses when you look at 35 and under (from memory). So young women should pay more but older should pay less.

I just caught a replay of Super Trucks racing. Insane !! These dudes in their trucks race around a circuit that includes jumps. Two wide, hitting a jump at full tilt is madness. Two wheel cornering ( and rollovers if they get it wrong) a highlight. I think this rev head just found a new version to follow.

Dude has only ever lost one fight in his career and that was because of the angle from which he was throwing elbows during the UFC Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights finale got him disqualified. He is probably the greatest light heavyweight of all time but he's his own worst enemy.

I'm definitely not a UFC expert but I remember seeing some of his fights and wishing mercy on his opponents...his elbows and knees and strikes were devastating to watch.

Once he had position on his opponent in a corner it was pretty much over.

Because of my frequent visits to Vegas in the past 17 years, I received an offer of free nights at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas the other day. Looks like I might pass on that for now.

No economist of any repute really acknowledges the 'gender pay gap' as a serious problem in modern business. The reasons why women get paid less than men in some generations get extremely murky and a lot of times actually fall on it being lifestyle choices from women, not discrimination towards women from corporations.

So to continue what a crappy few days it's been, I fell in the parking lot of the doctor's office(Nephrologist[kidney specialist] - a Richmond supporter who was dressed in black with a yellow scarf on), the doctor who I was seeing about the reasons why I've been so weak at times that I almost had fallen. Not even my cane helped me keep upstanding. I fell face down on concrete and bruised my forehead and scratched my glasses. We went up to the doctor's office for surely they would have some medical supplies to clean up the bleeding wounds. No nurse at the office. Not even an emergency medical kit. The kidney doctor saw me after about a half an hour and cleaned the wounds. Good news is that my heart and kidneys aren't the problem of my fatigue. I do have Chronic Kidney Disease, but that's not causing the low blood pressure and weakness. Neurologist might be next. And new glasses. At least I have Medibank.

My forehead looks like I was headbumped by Toby Greene. I'm just going to tell people that I was beaten up by a drunk Tigers fan.
