If they hadn't scored that late goal against Hawthorn, they'd be 13th.

The deliberate rushed behind is Rankine all over again. Yeah that should probably a free, I think walking it over should always be, but they NEVER call it. If there's ever even 1 opponent within 9m that's nearly always automatically "physical pressure" regardless of if they actually are or not.

Technically the angle is correct though. If they run it through the points the line is a direct line from the centre of the goals to the infringement, which technically means he's behind the post.

Port receive: Horne-Francis, Rioli, Zerk-Thatcher, Ratugolea, Soldo, Sweet

At the end of the day they fall short in defence, Zerk and Rat combo isn't going to get you a flag. You can't be brilliant everywhere, there is always holes in teams, but it can't be defence imo. But that was all that was available in the KPD department to bring in so have a crack and hope you underrated what you brought in, what else can you do apart from doing a rebuild/reset.

I have heard from a good source that young Zachy has been drinking his own bathwater for a while. Doesn't think his shit stinks and he has put some of his own teammates offside due to his (how do best describe it) 'critiquing' of their own individual performances.

Finlayson has had a gutful of it and there have been stern words between the two (TBH if there is ever a player that needs a rocket it is Finlayson) however none of the other players have spoken up as they are hesitant because Zachy is Kern's love child

Anyone see our favourite blind goal umpire on the weekend? Might have been the Port game, can't remember, but the ball went through the goals and there was like a half a metre gap to the post. Easiest call you will ever see. Not only did he have to call a review, he didn't even have his own call on it and had to ask the other umpires in the area. I've never seen that before. The guy is truly terrible at his job.
