I remember back in the day (1980s, early 1990s) there was a sign saying "Welcome to Port Adelaide" I think it was on the railway bridge over commercial road as you head north. I always thought when seeing it, yup you're welcome to it. Looking at Google maps it does not seem to be there now.
Think I have posted it on here somewhere before, running down the race between the bowls club and grandstand with the wire fence was like a scene out of One Flew Over The Cookoo Nest with their faces pushed up against the fence

I remember watching a Norwood - Port game at the Parade and when we beat them this visibly upset female Port supporter said "it's the first time you've beaten us this year!" Our group of Legs supporters rolled around laughing as it was the first game of the year ! lol They are a special lot these Port supporters!

Certainly different 🤪

I like Tredders, spoke to him a few times outside AO when he was working for 9 and always gave me time of day. Agree with his Hinkley stance and unfair dismissal. Not fully accross whats hes been up to lately but may have gone too far down the rabit hole.

Which Hinkley stance do you agree with? The one he publicly campaigned on, or the one he switched to the instant he got elected?

What do the Murdochs have to do with these sovereign citizen type stuff? Wouldn't have thought that's a mainstream media thing. A couple of people at my golf club got into this stuff. I can get behind their decision to not get vaccinated, but both of these people went the full lizard people, sovereign citizen, chem trails and other weird, weird stuff.

not directly, but it's the first stop on the conspiracy train, tredders is approaching the end point

Tredders giving Lindy a run for her money! Forget Full Lindy it's now Full Tredders.

He makes Lindy look sane! Crying about Loving Sando and how he wasn't given a fair go is completely normal compared to this.

"I have not been provided with any material facts or evidence that shows there exists any lawful gold or silver coin of substance in common circulation upon which to close, pay and extinguish an account."

Isn't this the guy Port fans wanted on the board to save the club?
Port can now pay his board fees using a promissory note...

Lol, he is stuck down the rabbit hole!

He got anti-vaxxed & gone down the full cooker route.

As much as they would like to I am not sure the Port board can remove him without a fight. There are so many Port people who rate his football career so high that he can do no wrong. There would be massive fallout.

I don't have an issue in what he believes in as thats his right but he has a heap of double standards. Firstly he was the one that started the legal action so depsite what some Port people say there is no need to feel sorry for him. He also happily takes pay from a big commercial multi media empire like NOVA.

He always seemed like a reasnoble guy but someone who thought they were alot smarter than they were. The marriage bust up wouldn't of been cheap but I doubt he is close to going bankrupt so he is probably not as well of as he thought he might be post football.

I actually felt sorry for people in my work who lost their jobs for choosing not to get vaxxed. It should have been easy to get those people to WFH but nope, they got to see out all leave available and were let go. Then when the rules changed back, they couldn't have their job back which was pretty shit for people with 20 years service etc.

I'm not saying that is the same as Tredders, but to let him go because he didn't get vaxxed and then argue, "Well, we were going to let him go on performance..." I don't know; I'm not privy to the conversations he had with his employer about performance, but it seemed convenient.
