We haven't won a wooden spoon since 1900 and we've won 37 premierships, thank you for the reminder. :)
No port magpies have won 36 sanfl premierships you have 1 afl premiership but hey you clowns love to rewrite history when it suits you

2 HISTORIES
NO FUTURE

2 CLUBS
PAFC SINCE 1997
I suppose you believe Fitzroy and Brisbane are the same club, rather than two separate entities?

The truth is, Port Adelaide is one club with two different nicknames. Power in the AFL and Magpies in the SANFL.

You as a Crows fan would already know as to why we can't use the Magpies nickname in the AFL though.

At 15 they can get a job and pay for their own tickets [emoji14]

Have you seen the hourly rate for 15 year old workers? Mum and dad spend more in vehicle costs dropping them at work for their 2.5 hour after school shift than the kids earn.

That said, I don’t disagree with the wage structure. But I do think it odd that when a group of highly paid people get together to implement a price structure geared towards filling stadiums and then having arrived at a discounted 4 person family ticket price, they rule a line at 14 years old. If you’re correct, and there’s no reason that you’re not, they’ve effectively decided that the 15 year old should be using their $13/hr to pay their own way.

It’s like the half pregnant discussion. If the goal is filling stadiums and bringing families back to live footy, why Penny pinch by removing 15-17 year olds from the program. Makes zero sense to me. Penny wise and pound stupid springs to mind though.

West Coast Injury list keeps growing, they are also prone to having an absolutely awful season and then be right back up there the next.

With all the restrictions I wouldn't begrudge some of their players just not really giving a stuff, if they have to spend the majority of the season away from their families in a bubble even when in WA when none of the other teams have to

Will be interesting to see how the Port Power women's team will go playing home games at Alberton Oval.

One of the things Adelaide have had with the women's team is people who are new to footy coming on board. This has helped our club.

With a central, city fringe venue like The Parade, that has helped. Alberton is a long way away for a lot of people.
Parking not the best either. More so after the revamp.

Big difference between SANFL and AFL premierships.
The great thing about Port joining the AFL is that its supporters have been severely humbled, with 1 premiership in 25 years.

Your club is mediocre at best.

I was earning 6 bucks an hour 20 years ago, can't imagine it's worse.

Any Crows fan with a brain would have been wishing we'd won another spoon in 2021.

I disagree, not with the season we had, and not after we've attracted both Burgess and Dawson (two genuine stamps of approval to what we're doing) as a result of.

After all, we lost the spoon on three results. The wins against Geelong, Melbourne and Saints. Three games where we punched above our weight and rolled two top four teams, and a mid table team away from home and with a comeback. Three games that are integral to our development pathway as they're games that generate belief and buy in for a group, which are the two of the most important elements to kick out of the stasis we find ourselves in, and which is something we're well and truly on a timer for.

It sucks to not get Horne, but in the end of the day, it's a small sacrifice in what is a very dangerous place for a club to be in. After all, it does not take much for a club to snowball into rebuilding a rebuild. Especially one which had(/s) a reputation of being a train-wreck and already had whispers about, and got their prize from, tanking.

I wish we won the spoon, but I reckon it was North drawing with (not beating) GWS in Tasmania that killed off that chance.

Had that happened we would have been a chance for the spoon had we tanked against Hawthorn and lost to St Kilda - and could have sealed it tanking against North too

In the end it would have required too much tanking, North were simply too awful

Love the last sentence [emoji41]
Bring Back the Bars is all a distraction to take away from the current era of failure under Ken.

If you are a bring back the bars guy, you are a Ken guy. If you are a sack Hinkley guy, you wouldn’t give 2 shits about the bars.

You can’t be both. Bring back the bars is a Ken enabler.
