Whenever we play a team they are playing well, teams like Carlton, Brisbane and Saints seem to get teams at their low point more often than not.

Port were playing like shit when we played them.

Tom Boyd getting A Grade service tonight. 2 dubious frees from the umps in or around the square and a handball over the top he nearly botched.

What a boring game of footy. i like the bullies but this game is boring. No pace and no atmosphere

Think Hogan might have to settle for 2nd in the rising star, Cripps is a freak of nature

I don't understand why Bulldogs supporters keep saying that Boyd is "only on a rookie wage this year" as though it somehow justifies his contract size. It'd be like us saying the same thing about Hogan. Sure he's only on the $70,000 + match payments this year, but Hogan knows he's making $1M over the next two years, and hence $1.1M over the next three including 2015. It's the same as Boyd. He wouldn't be at the Bulldogs if he didn't know that after this year he'd be on huge money. Sure he doesn't get it now, but it's pretty much in the bank.

He kicked 4 with 2 I50 free kicks, came within millimetres of ****ing up his 3rd, STAND BACK AND WATCH AS A LEGEND IS BORN :thumbsu::rainbow:

Boyd rides the free kick train all the way to rising star town. Now surely there was a more deserving player in the AFL other than him this last round

I would have put Neal-Bullen ahead of him personally, 3 goals as a small at kardinia park compared to 4 as the key target, against brisbane, at home, including 2 from frees and one almost fumbling it over the line from the square.

Think the second half of the year will be interesting. We've played 11 straight solid quarters of footy, and apart from brain fades as a side (read: the last 40 seconds, the Collingwood first quarter) we have really tightened up. Feel like we can give almost anyone a shake after yesterday. Games against St Kilda, Essendon, Brisbane, the Bulldogs, Collingwood (we were right with them for a lot of that game), GWS and North should all be considered winnable...hell, if you shut down West Coast's structures you could give them a fair old shake too, especially since I think their midfield pressure is massively masking their defensive deficiencies.
