I see Brayshaw has been able to forgive Gaff and looks forward to meeting him based on Hamish's advice that Gaff is one of the nicest blokes he has ever met.
I thought what a class act but thats flying like a lead balloon on the Dockers board

Then when the media get a hold of it "Eagle Hamish Brayshaw tricks brother into forgiving other Eagle for brutal off the ball hit is there no end to their arrogance?"

That would be teenage brother.

Do you know what makes me happy when I come across a purple fan acting like an absolute muppet?
I sit back and remember when they made the GF and those two guys spent the whole night before the game painting the main road in Fremantle purple, only for it to rain not long after they finished and wash it all away. For some reason thinking about this never fails to make me smile.

We're so arrogant now, we're forgetting what arrogance even is.

That's how deeply ingrained our cultural issues are.

I never heard that one, very symbolic. I was a bit traumatised that week, I couldn't believe how so many businesses and people came out of the woodwork and started supporting the jetty lickers. Everywhere I went there were inflatable anchors. They even hired a rock act who turned up in the CBD. It was delightful to see them crumble.

In 2015 I was expecting the whole city to embrace the Eagles but it wasn't at the same level. My mate put it well, he said thay everyone expects the Eagles to make the grand final every few years so it's not that exciting. For Freo, 2013 might have been a once in 50 years event.

That it was, I belly-laughed my way through that Grand Final.
Then I drank and swore my way through 2015.

I was at the game in 2015. The line for beer near me was at least 15mins as all the Eagles fans tried to drink their sorrows away, so unfortunately I couldn't even hit it hard. I partied pretty hard later though.

My eldest daughter kicked two goals from the midfield late in the 4th qtr to nearly pinch the win in a loss by 5 points tonight. Won herself a derby medal in our Joondalup matchup.

This with a suspected broken or fractured finger sustained early in the 3rd qtr.

So we’re at Joondalup emergency right now haha

She’s got some real heart. Make no mistake.

Its the little things in life.
I hadn't actually heard about that one either but sounds like something that would happen to them.

No need to be so arrogant about it mate.

I wonder if Hooker's two swinging arms at a Saints player on the ground will even be looked at. Expecting a fine at worst, since they didn't connect. Carey made the right point that it's the same action as Gaff but it's basically ignored up to the point that it does some major damage.
