Went last year so might be more gouging going on this year, but flights were pretty reasonable. Tickets to the games were cheap, got a 4 game pass to Adelaide Oval for 140 I think.it was, for pretty good seats.

All public transport was free and super easy to get around. And the free shuttles around the Barossa were awesome and suprinsgly not too busy

The only gouging we experienced was on the hotel which was a bit of a shithole, but spent so little time there it didn't really matter alot

Would recommend

So from my friend for 2026; $3600 for 2 people for 3 games access including club luncheon and accommodation. $700pp for return flights. Then it's food & transport and other expenses.

I'm basing it off that information, certain there's ways to trim it back a bit here and there to get it down a bit.

700 return for the flights is roughly what we paid too. Feel like thats pretty reasonable tbh

The 3600 looks like some sort of hospitality package, those are always a bit pricier doesn't matter the event.

Can buy the game passes through WC (if youre a member) Finding a hotel was the biggest problem and like I said, that was where the major gouging occurred for us. If you're prepared to skip on the 5 star luxury hotel can probably do the accom and games for around half of what your mates did.

Just need to be onto it early

Rough tip tonight. Leaning Carlton, just can't see how Collingwood kick a winning score.

Collingwoods out/ins look horrible compared to Carlton

Collingwood are on their third 6 day break of the season:

- in Round 1 they lost at home to Adelaide, despite also having the conditioning advantage of it being the Crows' first match.

- in Round 4 they had to travel (!) to face a Brisbane team that itself was on a 5 day break and lost by 9 goals (and it would have been over 100 points if not for poor finishing from the Lions).

Their only wins this year have been against St Kilda when the Saints were unable to convert (they [St Kilda] had 23 more inside 50s) and GWS when the Giants were playing away on a 6 day break and injury-riddled, whilst the Magpies had not travelled at all to that point and had a 13 day break - and even then GWS were still +8 for inside 50s.

Carlton are also on a 7 day break for the first time since March.

Combined with the selection ins and outs, it wouldn't surprise me at all if the Blues were to get up tonight.

Thats enough for me to change my tip

Say what you like about him but Nick does make the kids feel special when they run out. Did a good job with Tex's kid last week 😂
Don’t think Nick has done anything wrong and seems like a pretty good dude - it is the media glaze and umpire love that irks people

Yeah I have a lot of respect for sports stars that go out of their way to make kid fans feel special - like Cristiano Ronaldo - who probably shares the same eyebrow plucking specialist as Daicos.

Craig McRae is a war criminal. Like Ross Lyon but in the stand and move it on at all costs era. Drags them into the mud then tries to beat them with…let’s say experience.
