The sooner Dangerfield retires; the sooner he's a talking head in the AFL media.

No thanks.

Dangerfield's future:

1: Prime media gig.
2: Position within the AFL admin that he uses to make changes to Geelong's advantage.
3: Continues to be a massive unlikebale dickhead.

Rainfall forecast
Was listening to Kano last night talk about how this is a massive game for Darcy, with no Nank he should be able to get into some form on a nobody ruckman.

Didn't mention the possibility of a cyclone which likely negates the loss of Nank. If it's going to be that wet, you'd be inclined to drop a tall and bring in an extra small

Unlucky timing for Darcy

Surprised Danger has gone as long as he has given his athletic profile. Probably time to give it up now though.

I know he's a flog and campaigner but only four games ago he singlehandedly won them a prelim - I can understand why he wanted to go on for one more season.

If it's going to be wet, you don't drop your big bodied ruckman. There will be numerous stoppages and it will devolves into rugby scrums. Will suit Darcy more than most given he's twice the size of anyone else that will be out there.

Brisbane has no right to complain at the amount of money being thrown at Zac Bailey to move at the end of the season. The advantages they have received with early access to top end players are on a par with GC. Losing some players to better offers is a result of a stacked team.

They'd have plenty of money for Bailey if they hadn't spent it on Oscar Allen and Sam Draper.

I think the issue with Bailey at Brisbane isn’t necessarily they can’t pay him that much but more they don’t want to due to the flow on effects through the rest of the playing group - some of who have/are taking unders to help keep the group together

Unfortunately for Brisbane, this is actually the intention of FA and salary caps. Clubs with more money to spend and a willingness to do so are going to try pick players off from successful clubs that are arguably underpaid

They’ve been assisted thanks to their ability to bring in young talented players through the draft on rookie contracts and the collective mindset that success is better than dollars

Bailey is going to test that resolve

That said, as good a player as he is, talk of clubs offering $1.5m per year deals sounds reckless to me

$70 for a basic tshirt, $125 for beige Chino shorts.

Assuming the labour is done by East Asians on a dollar a day, wtaf?

This is Daniel Bradshaw's company right?
