It's alright they're going to get McCarthy, hogan and hooker
I love seeing that glimmer of hope in my mates eye at the start of every off-season, when he talks about all the gun key position players the Dockers are going to sign up, which turns to his default look of disappointment when they end up with nothing worthwhile.
Then he perks up and I get a few months of the same old rhetoric about their young up and coming key position players (Tabitha, Apechump, Silvagni etc etc) and how they've revitalised their obligatory "we couldn't get anyone decent but we got this guy instead" signing (Gumbleton, Jack Anthony etc etc.) and that they're going to dominate as well.
And then the tears come when he realises that they're going to have to trot out the grandpa brigade again, surrounded by the likes of The Spud King Zac Dawson and prancing Chris Mayne, and that it's more than likely going to cost them yet another chance at premiership glory.

Must find some time to hit up the wobbles board for some lols today. What a shocking start for them. Swans looked slicker than the proverbial through the guts from what i saw last night

Yep, but I won't celebrate Dane Swan's injury (bad form to do that IMO). The Swans' on-ball division was very impressive. They swoop in functional units and have great awareness of where each other is positioned. Gathered the hard ball with aplomb.

Bulldogs - Freo is a hard one. Bulldogs looked good most of last year but also lost some games they shouldn't have or had some unconvincing wins. On the other hand Freo are an unknown this season with their lacking of a major KPF bar Pav.

You look at the sides on paper and i just shake my head when looking at freo's team sheet and go thats a bottom half team. Yet year after year Lyon gets them up. He might not bring an attractive brand of footy but he's a great coach and gets everything he can from the sides he coaches. Gold Coast and GWS were stupid not to try and poach him.

GC and GWS should steer clear of him, imagine all those young careers he'd ruin.

Great start! The Bont. I heard that Nat Fyfe's family cannot speak to him for at least a day after a loss. Really bad loser apparently. Hopefully the salt appears tonight :D
