Lol west coast has been contacted for comment. How would that convo go. Hey west coast are you guys racist? Stock standard pr response to this kind of incident.

Id say jettas bomb was slightly more than warmly applauded.

I swear he had a cheeky grin on his face after his first goal as he quietly jestured towards his spear crowd

I don't mind the term "warmly applauded "which can skew the other way also if the term "only" is used like you are portraying.
Well I would say that article is downplaying the reception given to Lewis Jetta in a pathetic attempt to pump up the racism angle.

Some more quality journalism for Freo on Fox Sports

Anthony Morabito made his return to senior footy with a solid performance for Peel Thunder. Hayden Crozier and Jonathan Griffen also put their names up for selection this week. But all eyes will be on Fremantle’s ruck stocks and who will be named to replace the injured Sandilands. Jack Hannath and Zac Clarke loom as the likely replacement(s).

So you mention Griffin then completely forget him when mentioning the ruck replacement. Clarke isn't even fit ffs

Beer fans in Melbourne, do yourself a favour and get a pot of the Pirate Life "tomfoolery" dark lager, aged in Tempranillo barrels.

Edit - it's on tap at Carwyn Cellars, Thornbury

They haven't really put a foot wrong yet. Is that at Carwyn Cellars?
Haha yep. Beat me to the edit

TBH I didn't think the IIPA was that special but everything else I've had of theirs has been quality

I have a god awful sick feeling in the pit of my gut that is telling me Hawks are going to win it again this year.

Personally i think Sydney are the team to watch out for come September with North Melbourne also a danger side for us.

Hawks are going perfectly, grinding out tough wins early in the year like Freo love to do it. Its a 180 on how they started last year. I have the upmost respect for how mentally superior the Hawks players are to the rest of the competition [especially us] and how well coached they are. But when you rely on mind over matter the time HAS to come when those old bodies can no longer achieve the impossible. I think the Hawks will be massive sliders in the back half of 2016. At least I hope.

You might be right, well I hope you're right because I couldn't stand another Hawks wankfest at the end of the year even if it's warranted. I just want them and their arrogant supporters to **** off already.

Everyone peaking too early. That's what I'm telling myself.

IIPA packs some fanboys eh! Feral TUSK day coming up in a couple of weeks if you've missed it previously.
What is it?

can't stand sydney either They havent gone down in about 5 years and plus you wouldn't want one of our arch rivals winning another one before we get one.

11.8% ABV double IPA. One of my top 5 beers of 2015. 26th April it hits Melb. Feral release this beer bi-annually to high acclaim.
Noice

After last years GF I told everyone they will win the next 3 too. I was drunk but stand by it.

So this year I have followed those campaigners closely and have worked them out but alas I'm not a coach in the AFL.
They're beatable, problem is everyone is either trying to copy them (wont work) or sticking to their guns and playing their 'proven' gameplan, like us last week. (wont work)

Hawthorn can beat any team, anywhere, anytime. No other teams can say that. It all comes down to their discipline and structures, originating from the coaches.
They're pretty much a ticket to a flag. You come in and you do this job and you get a flag. When it's your turn to go, you go. This is your job for today, no excuses. Everyone knows where they stand and what's expected .

Too many teams have stars that drag them over the line. The Hawks don't have the best players in the comp, but they have 22 players on the same page and it makes them impossible to match accross the whole field.

Appreciate how good of a team Hawks have been but i can't stand the supporters they are so arrogant that you can't have a conversation about footy within earshot without them taking over the conversation. They have the attitude that they know more about footy because their team have won 3 in a row.

I don't get how people can feel strongly about a supporter base - every club has their fair share of flogs.

They will come back to Earth when their side starts to slide (a bit like Cats supporters), it's just a matter of being patient and riding out the smugness.

This is going to be a really interesting year. Noone knows how its going to play out in terms of lower rotations making life more difficult for older players. Someone might just sneak right in from nowhere.
