To be fair stevens looked average before going to the doggies

Mind you he wasn't given much of a go at the Eagles when Woosha was still coach. From what I remember he was in and out of the side. The same went for Ebert, although his man beef was that he was played out of his preferred role, ie midfield. Woosha kept wanting him to play HFF. So think Stevens asked to be traded so he could get a regular game in the seniors.

I know who's the dickhead and it's not Nic Nat! It's not the first time this type of injury has happened - it's part of football. Feel for Sandy, but every time somebody goes up for a screamer there is always the risk of injury to the player in front. Most times there is no problem but these type of injuries do happen from time to time.

Stevens and Ebert both aren't anything special. Solid foot soldiers and nothing more.

Stevens's skills aren't that crash hot either, and he's not that quick (though he had groin issues I think while he was here). Not too fussed we didn't keep him. Would have been good to have gotten more in return though.

Barring massive injuries to their core group then I don't see them dropping too many H&W which means they will be in the box seat come finals.

yeah they're just so well led. Once Mitchell/Burgoyne/Gibson/Hodge/Lewis etc go it'll be a different story, but they just have so many goddamn leaders.
