Norf very good chance to be 4-0 which leaves me feeling ill.

Conversely Freo very good chance to be 0-4 which leaves me feeling happy and content.

It may be a weird feeling afternoon tomorrow.

Eh I think NM are pretty overrated. Got some lucky wins and are relying heavily on some old players. They have had a pretty easy run so far (Adelaide their only good win). Got the feeling they are going to be found out.

Melbourne or Collingwood tomorrow?

Would be nice to see Melbourne finally get one over the Pies.
Melbourne for me, Collingwood have such a shocking midfield for skills apart from Pendles/Side.

I'm going to have a bit of a sook.

Starting to form an opinion that Beveridge is a bit of a plonker and getting a little tired of the love fest for the bulldogs in the media, particularly the accepted wisdom that they are an ultra attacking side. Their scores this year :

15.13 v Fremantle
13.15 v St Kilda
13.12 v Hawthorn
13.7 v Carlton

By no means terrible but when you consider all those games have been played at Etihad in perfect conditions it's somewhat underwhelming and not really a justification of their reputation for being an attacking side. I will say that they are playing some good football and are exciting to watch yet their scoring power isn't as strong as you'd think.

Adelaide on the other hand.......
I do agree, though the media will be the media, always waiting for some new Vic team to pin their hopes to and at least the dogs are more appealing than Richmond or Norf.

I will say one thing and that's that scores don't necessarily reflect style of play with such a small sample size. St Kilda are a highly highly aggressive attacking side, and average 84 points per game this year, which is slightly below the league average last season.

Looking at the squiggle Adelaide are great offensively, not so good defensively.

Hawks and Eagles right next to each other....

Just had a gander at swans board so next week there is no need to show, give them the points and the flag according to them.

Eh I don't know, for some reason I am feeling quietly confident. Wellingham back, small ground and WC starting to show some form. Sydneys defenders are pretty shabby they rely a lot on their midfielders getting back. Crows were their first test against a top 8 team from last year and they failed.

Think they, like NM, a bit flattered at the moment.

Whats up with all the 6 and 8 day breaks away looks mostly saturday home sunday wtf afl

Was just thinking this. I think they are definitely missing Crameri and Dickson, the mix made it very hard to match up on. They've completely dominated 3 weak teams at their home ground, but struggled to put a score on the board, shades of Freo last year.

I don't think the mix is right ATM, Stringer seems to be their Full Forward and they are wasting him a bit, a lot of balls onto his head. Boyd seems to be the other target playing up the ground a bit more but isn't offering much output yet. The rest are resting mids. There are some issues with their entries, but they don't have the personnel either to take advantage of their dominance.

Sydney played well it's just that Crows were better. I still don't think the Crows are a legit premiership chance with such a leaky defence and I want to see how they go with a few injuries.

Just saw the crows vs swans highlights .
Massive push in the back by betts at the crucial point of the match !
So blatant but not called

Watching that Crows game, I got what I feel is an unjustified wave of confidence for next week. The size of the SCG will play right into the hands of the web - the main source of goals against is clearing the top of the zone, a tactic which Sydney used many many times tonight against the Crows. Far less space to cover from the wing backwards, makes me feel a little happier about the prospect of goals over the top.

Of course it could all backfire and just mean that the goals over the top come one kick quicker, but either way...
Width is more a killer to the web. You can switch and have someone breaking wider where you cant cover. Scg is short but still wide like the g
