Welp.

Oh Lord

That's brilliant - stealing this for my Bay13 thread

Who have Melbourne played though. Not putting Gawn down of course, just curious?
Well, there was the game v Norf, where had he not given Goldstein 5 goals, many say he won the actual ruck duel with 2 sausage rolls of his own and 63 hitouts.

Then there was GWS (Mumford) Ess (Leunberger) Pies (grundy) & Richmond (Maric)

He has been in excellent form.

Just checked the thread - outstanding OP Keys ;)
may or may not have stolen those youtube links

In my defence I'm pretty sure I was the first to raise the tiggers history of gutless snipes

We were 1-7 in 2008 after finishing 3rd in 07 weren't we?

We then won by 50 against Adelaide, brought on of course by selecting Beau Wilkes for his debut.
Yeah but we lost our two best mids (arguably two best mids at the time) and our third best mid injured him self in a rep game mid way through the season. We also lost a handful of some of our better players at the end of 07. It was expected for us to drop off significantly.

They defend their favourites so blatantly, it's disgusting. Good to see Melbourne fly the flag and show some heart.

In that last quarter Melbourne did what we should have done when the rain started yesterday - force the ball forwards at all costs, with taps and knock ons if need be, and have the forwards ready at ground level to win the ball and score. Those goals to Kent and Garlett were fantastic to watch.
Can't understand in the wet conditions why our players didn't play like that. It's either a coaching problem or just dumb footy by our players?

I would be happier having a crack at the dockers if we had beaten a team with any form at all.
They are 0-5 after being minor premiers.

And lost to Carlton.

At home.

To Carlton.

Good enough for me.

They just got beaten by Carlton at home! They are outright last, after finishing first last year!

If any situation says "have a crack at the Dockers" it's this one. LOL.

Until next week, when they are 0-6.

Carlton are a quality side. Will trouble a number of teams this year

With Fyfe out and Sandi with him on the sidelines, expect them to give the 1 goal game a real shake. They are woeful. We're bad too but at least we've won three games.

While I like laughin at Freo as well it does us no favors if other top 4/8 candidates come to Subi and get a cheap 4 points against them. Especially when we have to work bloody hard for away wins..

Just sayin

BREAKING (no pun intended): Ross Lyon has told a Melbourne radio station Nat Fyfe is headed to Melbourne for surgery on a broken leg

Fremantle coach Ross Lyon has confirmed on the Monday Rub that Nat Fyfe did in fact fracture his leg on Sunday against Carlton.

“He has a fracture in his leg. He's flying to Melbourne and he'll be operated on,” Lyon said on the Rub.

There is no date set for Fyfe’s return.
