Well, you could count Port as a test. Turns out this year they're probably a midtable side, and we beat them on their own turf. Still, failing 4 out of 5 is still not acceptable for a premiership tilt.

If the ability to beat a top 8 side on the road is a pre-requisite for a premiership then the GF is going to be between Sydney and Geelong because they're the only two sides that have done it in 2016 (out of 16 collective attempts)

I don't think he was trolling, but it's a bit hilarious to think that the minor premiers last year beating Essendon at home - the same Essendon that struggles to put a side forward week after week - might be an indication of tanking.
