Any WAFL games topped that recently?

6,090 attended West Perth vs Subiaco in Round Three. Both derbies on Monday should go past that figure as well.

Woulda thought freo knocked off the top team or something. Give it a rest. You flogs woulda been abusing crowley if they had have won. Insead of crapping on about how good a freo bloke he was.

You can pretty much mark down round 15 against Essendon as the biggest ever WCE victory. I'l be shocked if we don't win that one by at least 100
Noticed west coast have never kicked 200 points in their history. Highest score is 192 i think. Surely this is on the cards against essendon

Looking at the Hurn hit on Roughead, will be surprised if he goes for that. Lycett pushed Roughead into Hurn and Hurn was stationary and just braced for contact.

But the MRP is incompetent, so who knows.

Good of the campaigner commentator to try and put Hurn in for it though.

On the reverse angle it looks worse because Hurn just appears so it looks like he lined him up.

But the original footage shows he had stopped and braced.

Called it! Hurn cleared by the MRP, sanity prevails

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-06-06/match-review-panel-full-statement-round-11

Contact between West Coast Eagles’ Shannon Hurn and Jordan Roughead from the third quarter of Sunday’s match was assessed. The panel said Roughead took possession and was immediately tackled by West Coast’s Scott Lycett. As Roughead was being tackled, he fell and made contact with Hurn. Hurn turned side- on and braced for the approaching contact. It was the view of the panel that the high contact to Roughead was caused by circumstances outside the control of player Hurn, as he did not have a bumping action. No further action was taken.

Brisbane applying for priority pick this season , finish 2nd last with less then five wins they will get pick 1 ( priority pick ) plus pick 3 !!!

Probably wont happen unless there is another tank truck rolling in plus the AFL still need to approve it !!

I'd actually be ok with them getting it (given their situation in comparison to certain other clubs who have received one in the past), especially in light of the talent they've lost

Brisbane is close to folding so I dont have an issue with them getting it. The only problem is it pushes us down a pick

Yeah likewise. And true, but at least it pushes everyone else down a pick too
I hope Freo don't get one (would be a farce if the minor premier from last year ended up with a priority pick) , and for similar reasons, I now hope that they avoid the spoon (they don't deserve pick 1)

Freo wouldn't get a priority pick , you need to win less then five games in consecutive years before the AFL would even consider giving a priority pick to a club plus non AFL states are more likely.

I think the high priority picks are useless . Just bringing in another young kid doesn't help the for a few years at least
Afl should give them an end of 1st round and endof second rround pick that they have to use on 1 or 2 experienced player/s in the trade period over the age of 23 or 50+ games

This is how teams get off the bottom of the ladder .
Look at how much guys like vince and garlett helped Melbourne .

Brisbanes probems are much greater than just receiving the first pick though... they just can't attract or retain talent and most of that has got to do with internal factors. Just gotta listen to Luenburgers assessment of their facilities compared to bombers.

I liked Leigh Matthews idea of a 2 year rolling Draft that he proposed on Before the Game prior to our game against the dogs. if clubs don't win say 8 games in 2 years they receive 2 first round picks.. and your draft position is based on an average of games won across 2 seasons.

Freo up and about after beating a WAFL side..
Were their supporters asleep for the first 10 rounds when they embarrassed the state for the 20th straight year ?
