The Hawks have such quick defensive players that cover a lot of ground and just do the right things. Puopolo, Rioli, Dureya, Shiels & Hartung. The last 3 you barely notice but they keep bobbing up at important times and making great plays.

True that but that was just Naitanui jumping at the ball, Daw is ferocious on the man. Bit of a double edged sword cos I love Nic coz he seems like such a good person, just perhaps to nice on the field. He is the last of our problems.

Btw how good is wells in traffic, magnificent. None our players are as good at creating space as him, just a gun!

Take the blinkers off. Nic wrecks people when he goes into beast mode. He tackles so you dont want to get up.

Think he has shown this multiple times this year and it gets the other guys going.

Yeh you're probably right, just something about the way Daw physically intimadated the Hawks tonight. But yeh Nic does tackle hard and is a gun.

Hawks wont get near the flag this year. Veteran savvy might get them into a semi but they aren't a genuine threat.

Isn't that the year the Varcoe missed that sitter to even the scores against the Hawks in the prelim? Would have backed they're chances against freo in a granny so not really sure you could say they finished higher then their ability considering they made a prelim and were one kick of beating the Hawks
