Watched bits of Adelaide yesterday. Any team that turns up with that game style will kill us. They don't even have to be near as effective or ruthless as Adelaide were to a number on us.

The speed they put on through the middle compared to the likes of Priddis, Selwood, Sheed, Rosa, Gaff and co. is going to be frightening.

I don't know many hawthorn supporters and the few I do know are fine

He did his role limiting Murphy, but was a black hole in terms of anything offensive.

They play an attractive, positive brand of football as well. They are a good team to watch with their skill.

For such a high skilled team though it's remarkable how often they just bang it forward, particularly out of the centre. They are so well drilled though that their teammates down the ground are ready for it

Have an awesome understanding of when to just get the ball going forward by any means possible and when to hold back and chip it around. Something that instinctive in players thinking takes time to develop - it's why Simpson needs to be given a decent run as coach to implement his plans

to be honest we will be playing toe or rosa against more dangerous power forwards this season. Great to see how we rise to the challenge.
