Anyone got tips for getting tickets to Domain Stadium as an interstate spectator? We will be coming across on June 30th for Ess v WCE but getting tickets seems pretty dicey.

General Admission is always a risk, games sell out pretty fast when we are up and about which we are likely to be this year.

Perhaps get in touch with the WA Bombers supporters group? They might be able to sort something out for you.

If you take a hanger and knee someone in the back of the head there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. Wheres the sacrosanct in that?

After watching the video again i see griffiths wouldn't actually have been the nominated ruckmen and you can't block people going third man up can you? Maybe this changes how its looked at. Either way, i don't like the third man up and therefore - Taste it Griffiths.

Yeah good point regarding the hanger - a reasonable attempt at a mark and you can whack the opponent in the head or back with a knee. Arms, elbows, shoulders and even hips to the head are judged as more deliberate/reckless, or negligent/careless/avoidable.

And third man up is a messy one which is often misjudged - I think you CAN block third man up but not the designated ruckman. I'm certainly not full-bottle on the rules in this regard but that's what I took from last season.

They've sorted me out with tickets before. Otherwise the Bombers group in WA would be able to help you out.

Had another look at the footage and don't think Sandilands should be suspended. He was literally just protecting his rucking space. This whole thing is the fault of the very dodgy third man up setup.

He chose to bump, he collected the other guy in the head and gave him a concussion.

Seen a segment on Freo's Cockburn development , really looks good !!

They have an oval as part of the complex that's has multiple goal post locations that can be changed to suit where they play each week .... I was thinking why do they need goal posts as they hardly ever score !!

The only way they'll truly threaten this year at the pointy end is if they're more organised when transitioning forward. If they manage this, look out. Bennell releasing Fyfe up forward and vice-versa could be very dangerous.

The flip-side to this being Bennell and Fyfe both running forward of the ball could expose their lack of KP defenders going the other way.

It's not the players more the coaching structure , Ross Lyon is a good coach ...maybe he needs an assistant coach(s)
with attacking flair . The recruited ex Hawks in Hale and Guerra probably targetted for this reason .

Freo have a bit of a Carlton 2011 era feel about them. Good midfield led by a star player(Fyfe/Judd), lack of quality talls and a fleet of decent small forwards.
