Hawks poor form will cost them eventually, could be like Geelong 2014 making top 4 undeservedly off narrow wins and losing in straight sets. And at some point it will be one season too far for their old campaigners.

Call me crazy but this isn't a bad result for us IMO. Come September Hawks at G might be more favourable than Crows at AO.

Going by people i know nephew doesn't watch AFL only plays he prefers Nrl to watch Several friends losing interest i assume trend is happening everywhere

Yeah .... Nah! Have a look at the ratings for AFL against those codes and the numbers attending the games!

and people complain eagles have their own umps at home. hawks take em where ever they go.

Don't let the Lamb fanboys hear you say that. ;)
The same naysayers would be saying "I don't know where he fits, he's not going to replace Kennedy so we might as well trade him"

4 wins on the trot is not poor form though. One season will be one too many for them, yes, but it is not this one.

Hawks low percentage will slightly impede them on the ladder until they ROFLstomp some cellar dwellers. They have a massive edge (both psychological and umpirological) over everyone at the G, particularly in finals.

Until we show better form against quality teams (and tomorrow is a good opportunity) the Hawks have every right to chuckle at the idea of "playing" us at the G again.

There goes my tipping...was hoping to cash in on Adelaide being ridiculously unfavoured and Hawks win again...by 3...again. ****..

Don't think so - not going by the attendances at the AFL matches as from my understanding attendances are up this year. Maybe I'm wrong - not sure. Also as some of the younger ones who take up soccer as a junior will more than likely continue following the round ball game. I know NRL doesn't seem to have much success here in the West? I guess it depends upon who you mix with as to what your opinion is.

Wonder how the crows will go as the season gets longer. It's not the first time they have been April premiers - happened to them some years ago. Wouldn't it be wonderful if it ended up being a WCE v Adelaide Grand Final with us winning of course:)

If there's one thing that I've learnt from the top teams this season is that dynamic small forwards are worth their weight in gold. Who are our dynamic small forwards? I reckon this is where we are lacking this season.

We just need to learn how to kick goals and not effing points. Adelaide only kicked 6 points for the whole game!! Were unlucky not to win? Sometimes I think our guys think too much when kicking for goal instead of playing on instinct.

I'd take a ruckman's weight in gold if I had the choice though. A recently retired one if possible.

It's more that he's not that good, why don't we trade him before other teams work it out. But yeh he's not replacing Kennedy either.

He was considered a long shot on draft day, that's why he slipped. He we either be a bargain or a bust. At the moment he is looking more bust then bargain. He needs to start showing something this year.

Wouldn't Cripps pass as a small forward, and Hill and Le Cras aren't exactly giants when compared to Kennedy and Darling?
