Going by people i know nephew doesn't watch AFL only plays he prefers Nrl to watch Several friends losing interest i assume trend is happening everywhere

The distinct decline in broadcast quality and variety of games during this broadcast deal doesn't help.

He was considered a long shot on draft day, that's why he slipped. He we either be a bargain or a bust. At the moment he is looking more bust then bargain. He needs to start showing something this year.

Wouldn't Cripps pass as a small forward, and Hill and Le Cras aren't exactly giants when compared to Kennedy and Darling?

Yes, they are our small forwards, but what I meant was their intensity and speed is lacking at contesting the ball, converting to goals. Eddie Betts, Cyril and Poppy are next level.

Lamb has the ability to be a good, maybe very good, footballer so he shouldn't be written off especially since he is still young

The concern though is his attitude which can be really poor watching first hand. It's something that needs to be fixed because its stifling his development

And has it shown improvement over last year? I understand he is young but you would still want to see an upward trend. Lamb has too many patches we he looks barely WAFL level then turns it on for a game.

I am not writing him off and hope he proves me wrong but people need to open to the possibility that he might one of those players who does not make it.

He was frustrating because he had the talent to rip a game apart, but rarely would. Would do something brilliant, but then look completely disinterested for half an hour. Enigmatic. Pretty much our Clive Waterhouse.

IMO one of these things is not like the others....
Puopolo turns in some decent performances but he's played his career up forward IN A DOMINANT SIDE, yet averages less than a goal a game. (just)
If he was an eagle he'd be a whipping boy for sure.

Yeah he was a physical specimen. Tall and fast but also strong (bench press animal). Used to annoy fans coz he would kick 5 then disappear for weeks.

by 3 points s take the money. not confident either way before the game buy fell to the home team. Crows had poor luck and blew many chances.

The umps were probably not biased just poor at their job, the do look like gormless hawks supporters. Professional sport would have neutral umpires.

The 50/50 calls are clearly biasing Hawks there is no question about it at all. Hawks supporters that do not acknowledge that need to take off their rose coloured glasses. The AFL need to have professional, neutral umps to eliminate the subtle cognitive bias from the system.
