Whilst the Tigers were really poor, do need to give credit to how clinical North were at stoppages. It reminded me of how Geelong bullied us off the ball and we struggled to get meaningful clearances. Yes I know 'struggled to get meaningful clearance' is written within Cotchin's genetic code like graffiti in a public toilet. But I reckon North are a better team in the middle than they were last year. Glad they're traveling to us this year.

Yeh North arent shit at all. Played in last 2 years prelims, 10 and 1 now. They have a very physically built solid team, most of their players look broad /thick. Makes me sick! Can only hope the season catches up with the pensioners through the winter slog and they tail off

Why don't North get the Flat Track bully tag that we get?

Because until now , they haven't been "bullies"
If they continue beating teams convincingly (like the blues and now Richmond ) instead of scraping over the line (like St Kilda ) they'll earn that title . But they haven't been consistently good enough to earn it yet

If he'd come to us he'd be at an Ebert/Selwood/Masten level. Sydney just know how to train midfielders, doesn't matter where they get them in the draft.

This is so spot on. So bloody frustrating watching our mids stagnating for so many years. And not just one or two either.

Geelong very hard to beat at SS, their record there is amasing! If GWS had have beaten the Crows a couple of weeks ago I would believe they could beat Geelong, but they didn't.

If Freo don't win today they won't win all year!
