The reality is if we have Blakely he is playing behind Priddis, even hutchings, at EP. Lamb could be at another team and playing seniors, setting the world on fire.

The Ross Lyon Bye week before the finals is going to be different , possibly good for West Coast as we travel to Adelaide in the final round .
Pretty funny that the AFL rule was helped to be created by Fremantle and they wont be playing finals , I am not too keen on the idea but will be good for WCE as long as we make the finals that is !!

Hogan is contracted to Melbourne. McCarthy is an unknown. Outside of that they have no forward line.
I reckon Taberner will go alright once he learns to hold marks. Gets himself into good positions more often than not.

Add Hogan/McCarthy and Pearce and it starts looking a lot better.

I get the Freo hate, but with Collins, Pearce, Blakely, Tucker, Weller, Hogan/McCarthy, Neale, Crozier, Fyfe, Bennell, Hughes, they have a very good young core compared to WC.

They absolutely need to find a ruckman and Sandi leaves an enormous hole there, but their KPP stocks will be better next year and their future midfield/running stocks are much better than ours. Unfortunately.

They have huge swathes of turd that they need to dump, but the young core is good. I'd be more optimistic about our future if ours was at the same level
fantastic post tbh.

Their midfield looks good but Fyfe is coming back from a broken leg and who knows whats happening with Bennell. Neale still hasnt signed. As for their youth the only one that is looking a stand out is Blakely. The rest are just generic and too early to tell at this stage.
Weller will be at the least a very handy half forward.

McCarthy is a certainty to join them next year.

I don't think he's a saviour but jus saying that we won't be pointing and laughing next year like we are now. And I'm worried that we are pinning all of our hopes on Sheed and Duggan whereas Freo don't need to plug as many holes as we think they do (and as many as we might need to once this little premiership window we're in shuts)

EDIT - nah, they have more holes to fix than we do.

The more this season has gone on the more I'm thinking finals may be interesting if GWS play Geelong imagine if Stevie J had a blinder to ruin Geelongs chances and at the same time if Geelong play Adelaide and Danger has a blinder the crows may be feeling his loss a lot more especially after he wins the Brownlow aswell. Although in saying that I'd love it to be the other way around with the crows beating Geelong to make it into the grand final. Be funny seeing Dangerfield have a sook of a missed opportunity seeing how much he loves himself.

Going to be Interesting finals series ahead.

Are we a little bit of a darkhorse maybe now.
Season games mean nothing when finals come around. Would be pretty epic if we made the grand final and just started clicking toward the end of the season but I have a feeling we will as the finals get closer that everything will come together.

do what you freo fans are good at.. have patience ;) bit harsh i thought but you'd know more about him than me

Do umpires call any throws anymore?

The rugby throw is basically part of the game now

Carlton desperately need to get rid of crustaceans Tutt, Sumner and Jed Lamb

Our last 3 games Rd 21[A]-22(H)-23(A) will tell how far we can go GWS ,Hawks and Adelaide .

Go Saints :)
Will be surprised if they can keep this up
If they do (as unlikely as it is) - Cats will continue their trend of falling to lesser sides
How did we smash the Saints by 100+ ?

Hey, it's not easy to fly across the country, have to adjust to a new time zone in an unfamiliar environment and then play a team on their ground and surrounded by their supporters screaming at you for three hours. Non-Victorian teams wouldn't really understand but ask any Victorian team and they'll tell you, it's hard to play at Subiaco.

This factor would explain a 60 point win, but not a 100 point one

Nah, we're just flat track bullies that can only win at Subi :drunk: ;)
