Must admit I was pretty surprised to see Heeney is 26. He's come real good now (and to be clear he was never poor, just inconsistent) but given the AFL media only took off the kid's gloves when dealing with him a couple of years I had in my head that he was still only 23 or so.

If Melbourne loses its Jake Melksham v Steven May Round 2 later tonight I reckon.
RIP Melksham
My money would be on Melksham.
Can't kick a goal but allegedly can clock a person with his skillset.

This post-match with BT whispering around the rooms finding someone to interview is ****ing creepy as.

Not sure I'm on board with this. He's had some injuries but I think if he played in Vic he'd be the centre of attention. He never rolled through the midfield like everyone jerked off about but he's an incredibly influential half forward player - which just so happens to be the most difficult position to impact games regularly.

I really don't like how old I'm feeling when I see the father/son picks playing and vividly remember watching their dad play.
I am dreading this stage.

Currently only at the stage where I’m seeing players retire who I remember being drafted and that’s depressing enough.

Garry Lyon and the Fox Footy panel pushing the “South Melbourne” line so hard. For *s sake they’ve been based in Sydney for 40 years!

They just can’t help pushing a Victorian agenda.
They have a lot of melbourne supporters and go out of their way to continue supporting them.

He was a father son pick ?

Academy, his dad was a coach at the Swans.

He was tied father/son to Brisbane (Fitzroy) and Norf but chose the Swans since he grew up in Sydney
