Me and the boys are heading over to SA for gather round, never been to Adelaide before. Has anyone done a trip over for the footy b4? Any tips for things to do and see? Bars for pre game drinks, restaurants etc?

If someone invites you to Snowtown, say no.

Just spent a week in Adelaide and watched the Crows flog Cockburn. NOLA was the best joint I went to, way better whisky list than anywhere in Perth. Good food and taplist too.
+ 1 for Nola.
Gilbert St hotel is ok but wrong side of the city.
Exeter is an old school pub not far from Nola if you're partial to a Coopers pale on tap.

Add Adelaide to the list of sides we should beat this year.

Complete and utter puss.

Motlop threw the ball twice when tackled, trying to draw a free. Umpires gave nothing but should have pinged him for illegal disposal. Next minute he was flopping on the ground trying to get in the back. He's got enough talent not to have to stoop to staging.

Optus stadium need to sort there shit, the Adelaide oval big screens arnt delayed by 2 seconds just noticed that with the rachele set shot with the big screen in the background it’s basically bang on.😂

Avoid Hindley Street unless you like shipshape bars, strip clubs and dodgy clubs with a high chance of ending up in a fight. Stick to Peel St and Leigh St if you're in the West End. Lady Burra is a good spot for pregame beers.

East End around Rundle St has all of the best options these days. NOLA as mentioned, Stag is always reliable, old school pubs like Exeter and Austral. I'm too old for late night venues but BRKLYN is good so I'm told.

For food, Golden Boy is great depending on your budget - they only do a banquet menu about $60 but it's delicious and you get a lot of food. Gunbae is fun if you want a cheaper option.

The District in the casino is the best of a sorry bunch for sports if you want to watch the other games. It's always got a good crowd on game days being directly across from the Oval. Adelaide really wants for a decent sports bar in the city.

Just checking the possessions on the AFL app, thought had it filtered just by Crows players had to scroll a long way down to get to the first bluebagger

Truro murders were frightening in their frequency. Would've been a lot more victims if one of the killers hadn't been killed in a car accident.
Car crash between Millicent (where I work) and Kingston. Had come to visit Mt Gambier i believe
